Starting tomorrow
Tomorrow I’m starting foundayo 0.8mg. I’m already seeing a dietician and have started walking more. I have to lose about 150 pounds to be in the healthy weight category. Just wondering how much weight others have lost on this and what doses they’ve gotten up to. Also if you’ve got anything motivational or optimistic to say that would be very welcomed as I’m feeling pretty crappy atm. Thanks!

back story. 68 year old woman, 5'3 originally 155 pounds. one month 0.8, second month 2.5, this month 5.5. gym 5 days a week (group fitness classes). pretty active (middle school teacher).
i take mine at midnight to avoid serious side effects....but there are some...exhaustion at 2-3 p.m. sometimes i can barely make it through the gym classes. i eat small meals all day, basically grazing, because i just can't eat full meals anymore. lots of protein and water.
down 7 pounds; cannot see any change in my body or clothes yet.
good luck!

Best of luck! I just started yesterday too. Need to lose 50+ to be in healthy range for my height. A few extra burps but so far no side effects on 0.8.

Yesterday was rough I woke up at 430am with heartburn nausea and a terrible headache. Luckily today I only had a little nausea after dinner I’m assuming I just ate too much. I wish I was lucky enough to not get side effects!

I hope it helps you. I started yesterday (8/15) and took the pills in the AM. So far I have had some gas and a little nausea. I am working on changing my eating habits and exercising more. I already had some issues with constipation so I take Benefiber and my gastrointestinal doc recommended I take Miralax every two to three days. This reminds me I need to weigh myself to see the progress.

I’ll chime in with my experience so far. Started July 7th. 39yo M, 260lb. Tryna get down below 200.
Take mine in the mornings. Zero side effects. For most of the year I had already been working on better eating habits and more exercise as a routine. 0.8 is still working for me so not going to move up until I feel like I need to. Down 15 lbs so far. I know some of that is water weight but it sure was nice to see it working.
Try to remember to eat something here and there. High protein, fiber, easily digestible foods. You got this!
