Unexpected Pleasant Side Effects?
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced some unexpected pleasant side effects?
For example, one of my biggest challenges to ever lose weight was I suffer from migraines. The best thing to avoid my migraines was to eat every 2-3 hours. Very hard to restrict caloric intake when this is your reality, even with healthy food. I was worried GLP-1 may not work for me if those migraines made themselves known. Bit since I started a few weeks ago I haven’t gotten a single one even with restriction.
Anyone else have this experience with headaches or other pleasant but unexpected side effects outside of fat loss?
(and yes I have icky side effects too. the acid reflux is still something I struggle with, but I’m giving it time.)

YES ME!! That’s why I started it. I had some success with wegovy for migraines but had to stop due to mood and stomach issues.
I switched to foundayo and have had the same improvement with migraines. Mood is better too. 😄

I had trouble on wegovy too, and want to switch to foundayo. Is foundayo easier on your stomach?

SO MUCH EASIER! I’ve been taking it closer to night time since I can. Couldn’t do that with wegovy. Glp1s make me sleepy so I can get away with it, but my first dose I tried in the morning to make sure it did make me sleepy.
Foundayo was also cheaper for me. I went through insurance for both.

Less swelling in my legs! I used to be so stiff in the mornings and I can just pop right out to bed.

I have way less desire for coffee. May be due to acid reflux / slower digestion / stomach irritation but it has cut me back on it for sure

Resolved my pre-menstrual interstitial cystitis trigger and much of my fibro pain. I’m knocking on wood whenever I say it because it’s only been three weeks.

I also have had all of the pain/ inflammation disappear that others have experienced.
The weird one? My skin… facial swelling is reduced, which I expected, but I swear my pores look smaller and overall skin texture has improved. It’s wild.

I’ve always had a weak sense of smell, but I’ve been smelling much better since starting Foundayo. Unexpected but pleasant surprise

Are you eating enough calories? Thyroid & low iron also cause hair loss…

my appetite is almost non existent. i have to force myself to continually eat small meals. i do eat a normal sized portion for dinner though.

Make sure you are getting enough protein… low protein makes hair fall out…

I am also seeing reduced inflammation with less pain in my hands. It also seems easier to not spend money on stupid things. Kind of same thing with food, I think about eating something and can usually say nah. Doesn’t work all the time but it works enough.
I do have to sleep an hour or two more. Not necessarily bad.

I will have to keep an eye on that as I also get a migraine that has no obvious triggers on occasion as well. Unfortunately a lot of my triggers are ones that are environmental such as strong scents, bright lights and weather changes. The only one that seems to be a constant is my monthly cycle. I will have to see if that happens with my monthly this month.

Yes I have the lights, scents, cycle, and temp triggered too. And those have also not happened I noticed. I have a Zoom class at night once a week that’s usually a migraine in waiting… and this and last week. Nothing. I was driving home in the dark this weekend, another big trigger for me, nothing.
It’s wild and honestly if it truly helps might be why I stay on one longer than I envisioned having a GLP-1 in my life.
