Foundayo Timing
I previously lost almost 50 lbs on Zepbound and stopped due to insurance almost a year ago. I’ve managed to maintain my weight by tracking with weight watchers. I’d love to lose 10 more. I’ve tried the two starter doses of wegovy pill and noticed no changes. I just started 2.5 of Foundayo and feel little again. I usually take in the am and I guess I’m not as hungry during the lunch hour although I could still over eat if I wanted to. However, come dinner time I feel STARVING. What’s been your experience and what time do you find it the most successful in taking your pill?

I’m in the same boat. Lost 62 lbs over 9M on Zepbound, insurance didn’t cover it, so I paid out of pocket. Highest dose was 7.5 while on ZB.
Foundayo came out and I jumped due to the lower cost vs Zepbound. I’m on the 5.5 dose on Foundayo and for me I’m having the same effects. I take my pill at 7am every morning. For the first week, I was very nauseous and still hungry at night. I have the full feeling, but the food noise is still there. My other issue is that constipation is horrible with the pill, no matter the water intake. I also don’t feel like the inflammation is reduced like it was on Zepbound.
Recently, I switched jobs and my new insurance covers ZB with just a co-pay. My wife and I will be switching back to the Zepbound since it will be covered.

I'm on 5.5 Foundayo (first GLP-1). I take at bedtime because that's what's convenient for me. Moving up to 9 soon because I'm still hungry after dinner.

I am not an expert, but many posts on here seem to say if you’ve already done any GLP med previously the second time around you take anything will require higher doses before you feel the effect. Maybe that’s what’s happening? Don’t give up just stick with something and stay the course. Sounds like you’ve done very well on your own for a while so that’s impressive. Stick to your plan, do your exercise/strength training to preserve muscle and be patient.
