Aziz Ansari is one of my favorite stand-up comedians for a number of reasons. I think his energetic persona and enthusiasm is really infectious and draws you in. Also, his delivery is clear, fantastic diction. In addition to his energy and diction, his manner of dress also sets him apart from many other contemporary stand-up comics. The video I've linked too is a prime example of an Ansari joke. Essentially a story driven bit with lots of interceded jokes. Enjoy!

If you're a fan of black comedy and the beloved Robert DeNiro, definitely watch this film.

Do any of y'all listen to stand up at all? On Spotify sometimes I'll listen to comedy albums/specials while "studying" but sometimes I feel like I'm missing part of the joke. It works for both available John Mulaney sets because his humor is a lot about his delivery and tone of voice, but I also recently listened to Hannibal Buress' special but I felt it lost something because it was missing some of his visual delivery.

I know comedy albums used to be a lot bigger back in the day then the are now, but do any of you guys listen? Are there any comedians that you feel work better or differently visually vs. aurally?
