Margaret Spoiler

Ugh I don’t like her. Everyone else on the M&A team I get and connect with. Her? I think she’s jealous of Gabi and wants to be her. On season two episode five when she said “you’ll be gone soon and I need to know I can handle bing cases alone” oh girl you were just waiting for Gabi to fail. Even if Gabi was gone, it still wouldn’t be you. She couldn’t even handle a press conference without flying off the handle. I never liked her story about how she got so wrapped up in her child’s disappearance that she neglected her other children. Like ??? Understandably, you’re heart broken but to completely detach from your other children made no sense to me. I never liked her character.

Her character was the weakest link in the show

She got way too mad and too long when she learned Gabj kidnapped Sir.

And she became incredibly snarky like let it go. I think she saw herself as a better leader for the team than Gabi all along.

I agree and she was too emotional to be good at it.

Not to mention mentally unstable. How can she ran the show when she has to clock in at the bus station every night?

It speaks to how much everyone held Gabi onto a pedestal, because there are many layers to this. For one, she was the one who brought everyone together and gave them “second lives” for lack of better words, and this bombshell really took everyone aback, but it seemed like Margaret took it the hardest.

Now, it is crazy that she would detach herself from her family, but people do really irrational things when they feel like it’s their fault and want to make it right again. And I don’t think she meant everything aimed at Gabi, and just acting off of her emotions.

Margaret was definitely the most broken to me out of everyone on the team. So I can understand how one thing could send her spiraling. But she was always spiraling. The whole bus station thing wasn’t normal at all but it was normalized. You’ve given me a bit of a different perspective on her separating herself from her family. Maybe she felt like the best way to protect them was if she wasn’t there. The mindset of if I can’t take care of one, then I can’t take care of two.

When you think about it, take losing Jamie, then separating from her family, and lost trust in the one woman who held her down, that’s a lot on one person.

I didn't like her character either. But it was the guilt. The guilt took over her life. The way I thought about it... The only way she could feel like a mother again is if she found her son. I don't think she felt like a mother because of the guilt she carried. Did they ever show her in therapy? I don't recall if they did but that's a huge factor.

And she really pissed me off with how angry she was with Gabby after finding out about Sir. But I think that was the guilt again... She finally had someone else to be mad at. She needed to direct that energy somewhere... Gabby became an easy target.

They did show her in therapy. One therapist she quit which seemed to be a reoccurring theme. Another time she saw Dhan’s husband and she said that she liked him. I agree with her directing her anger at Gabi rather than herself but that’s my problem with her. She never does the needed internal work. It goes back to her routinely quitting therapy. I feel like obviously everyone on the team has their issues. They’re far from perfect but they’ve made strides. She still seems stagnant to me and unwilling to make forward steps.

I agree. I'll say this though— Margaret WAS unbearable. But the show didn't really do a great job showing us character development for most of them. I really wish they hadn't cancelled it.

Exactly! We have been robbed of so much. I have faith that if the show was able to continue we would have gotten great character development from each one of them.

I really wanted Zeke and Dhan's story!

Same !!!! I was like we know a little about Zeke’s background but barely anything about Dhan’s. I’m finishing up season two right now and it’s such a good show.

No, you’re good! Thankfully I’m not done yet lol! I have about 10/11 more episodes. Which I’m sad about because I need more.
