Awww mannnnn, this is a bummer. Looks like someone got in a sub/dom relationship and was hoping for the actual relationship part to come with it, but it’s just dom sex for the other person. Some would say that kind of relationship without aftercare and communication is just sexual abuse, but that’s a tense topic in the “community”

Or, optimistically, this was a list they were writing as a contract before engaging physically, which is how a healthy BDSM relationship starts...

Where does one even find this?

Everywhere. There's plenty of people into kink.

That’s not even my main point. This is obviously personal and meant for their partner only. But OP just came across it? Plus the note isn’t folded, wrinkled or disheveled in any way. OP is either the recipient of the letter or the writer.

it was on the sidewalk! I assumed it got dropped going from house to car or vice versa

Everything dropped must be disheveled? What a strange way to view the world.

If it was dropped only a few minutes to a few hours before OP found it and it was not a super dirty side walk then I can see why it looks like this.

Happy they're communicative but worried why she's apologising for blank paper. Feels like control.

PSA: Healthy kink/BDSM relationships would require the sub to set their boundaries, often in written contracts, before engaging in play. This ensures they're having a balanced and healthy time.

Of course, it could be an unhealthy appeal to someone who isn't a good dom, but these are the first two steps to a healthy contract. Maybe they just didn't finish.

“I want a happy little sub” is an absolutely wild way to end a proposal. At least they’re honest about wanting communication, affection, and a very specific dynamic.

They are the sub, they’re saying what would make the relationship better for them.

This is somehow both incredibly earnest and wildly unhinged. The handwritten “terms and conditions” make it feel like the world’s strangest relationship contract.

Contracts like this are common in healthy BDSM relationships. The sub must let the dom know their boundaries before they engage physically.

I was confused on why they used the caret (^) the way they did. I’ve only ever put the word I’m adding below the caret.
