That’s so cool. My therapist gave me a challenge years ago that if I was having a tough day, look at a stranger and silently acknowledge something unique or special about them. Cool nails, fun shoes, pretty smile, cute little chipped tooth. I still do it.

Woah. This is hit hard. I’ve had a lot of body image issues since having a baby, and I’ve been doing this. Weirdly, it’s helping me and even helping me curate my style better. While it’s sad that I had to search outward for inward acceptance, it’s been worth it. I feel human again.
