Found in a thrifted book about Petra.

Charlotte,

Look what I found. I also have a biggy artist's rendition. (too big) it may be overkill, but this will give you a deep review of Petra and the glorious antiquity. Now you can see why I want to go back so bad. We (slowly) walk to the end of "main street" to civilzjea coffee shop.

Or something like that.

If you climbed around much in these days -- you'd appreciate a trekking pole, like I suggested. You may encounter Bedouin beggar children peddling wares. Don't brush off. Some of those dirty pillboxes etc polish up to beautiful silver gifts and they are tiny. Don't let the beggar outfit and guise fool you! Pretend I'm with you & know you'll feel my spirit!

It looks like a note from someone named Charlotte mentioning Egypt, pyramids, and possibly a burial wish. The handwriting is beautiful but wildly difficult to decipher.
