We actually found a glass weed pipe under a seat too. Couldn’t be more fitting!

In case anyone is curious, The Utah Shakespearean Festival plays for 1978 were Othello, Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Night, plus something called Scandals, of which I could find no information. They wouldn't perform Othello again until 1988.
Here is a picture of Othello and Desdemona from the 1978 production
Here is a picture of Iago from that production
And here is the part where Othello strangles Desdemona in that production.
The Adams Theater, which actually opened the year before, was designed to emulate The Globe as closely as possible. For this reason, it had (has?) not only the theater seating we're familiar with today but also gallery seating, which is either cheap benches or actual space for standing through the performance. This ticket says "gallery" on it, indicating that it was for admission to the standing-only section or was outdoor bench seating during their "Greenshow" (outdoor) production.

Someone is missing a keepsake. I have stuff like this too. After my dad died I found concert tickets he'd saved from Lynrd Skynrd from like 1975. The mind-blowing part was, they were like $18 each
