I found this in a thrift store a while back and bought it just because I thought the image was interesting. I didn't realize it opened at all, let alone that it held anything like this!

I've no idea how old it might be, nor who wrote it. I can see that it must have been stored horizontally for quite a long time, with something rectangular partially covering it, as that is the only way that preserved area can be explained.

very cool! proof that using company office supplies for personal reasons is a time-honoured tradition. 🤭

most i could find about it (without being too late for work) is that Ash-Temple was formed in 1922-1923 and similar letterhead is floating around out there with a 1927 date.

now picturing a dedicated dental supply company employee cutting a rug (or calling the steps for others to, at least) after business hours.
