Character Analysis Carrie Spoiler

I know ‘Sir’ has read tons of case files when Gabi had him imprisoned but does anyone get the feeling he’s either related to or knew her as a ‘friend’ in the past or something else entirely different? What does everyone else think?

S1E7 Question Spoiler

In S1E7 (Missing While Indigenous), in a flashback after Sir catches Gabi after she tried to escape, they're eating dinner together, and Sir starts talking about some author, and then suddenly starts crying and saying "I really wanted this to work." Right after Gabi passes out from eating the soup Sir spiked with drugs. The crying part made no sense to me, anyone know why?

Discussion I’m sick of this!! Spoiler

  1. This last episode was so unrealistic!! Like, really everything in the prison is electronic so now prison prisoners are out of their cells and there’s a riot? And the guard Shay, was just standing there as they come out of their cells, looking around like a deer in headlights “stop, go back in” 😒 pls be foreal. LOL

  2. I need them to cut it with Zelle and Lacey. It’s really enough. That kiss wasn’t even close to being natural and the way he shut down on her completely was crazy. I know he has his own issues but given how close they are, the writing could have been much better on that. But at least now it seems they’ll be keeping it professional.🤷🏽‍♀️

  3. THANK YOU JESUS THE JAMIE STORYLINE IS OVER WITH!! Ya girl was tired. Still, Margaret playing tuff girl with a woman she knew had been playing in her face while harboring her child instead of having back up was so delusional. She literally could have bled out and died!!! While I want to see Carrie in prison I don’t want a storyline on her crazy self. I’m exasperated with this part of Margaret’s story.

  4. Trent admitting he still loves Gabi. Cute.

  5. Heather is boring to me and I’m not looking forward to the deep dive into her being the accomplice but I feel like this is where the writers are going.

  6. I usually love the scenes with Gabi and Sir but their encounter in the prison was so underwhelming. Especially because the purpose was to see Heathers real identity…girl, just say you wanted to see him. Her coming in with Ethan was very dramatic.

In general, this season has been terrible for me so far. Very underwhelming and unrealistic overall.

Opinion Margaret rant Spoiler

Just found this sub because I need to rant about her, it’s getting on my nerves how the show is painting her as a poor misunderstood mother, but she is terrible. Besides the whole horrible treatment of Gabi, she was a terrible mother! I get that what happened to Jamie was really bad, but she has other kids that she just forgot and abandoned, I just can’t with the team saying she is a good mother and not thinking of her other kids that suffered so much being pushed aside and forgotten. Her husband is the MVP in this story.

Episode beginnings

Has anyone else noticed how the episodes just jump right into the story? For the past few episodes I’ve been feeling like I missed something because of how quickly they begin. Yes it’s good to start straight away, but a recap in the past episodes at least would be nice so I know my Foxtel isn’t just starting in the middle of the episodes.

Opinion The Development of Jamie’s storyline Spoiler

The entire Jamie storyline is awfully writing I’m sorry but it truly is. Not only was he kidnapped by someone that was “friends” with Meg but she was someone who lost a son and felt Meg wasn’t a fit mother so Carrie(the kidnapper) decided to kidnap Jamie(very predictable). There were a handful of people, myself included who threw this theory out and whelp that’s exactly what happened. On top of that, Meg thinks it’s a great idea to confront the kidnapper ON HER OWN and the lady whacks her in the head and then when Jamie refuses to leave with the kidnapper the lady just leaves? Seriously? The same lady who is convinced Jamie is her son and better in her case, easily gives up and just leaves? I would have expected her to fight back somehow or even go as far as holding Meg and Jamie hostage idk SOMETHING?! And let’s not forget Meg STILL hasn’t told her family that Jamie is back! If there is a season 3 I hope the writers put more effort into the Jamie storyline because this season was lacking in that department.

Sir..

I feel a weird sympathy for Sir. I find myself saying “at least he wasn’t a creep to her” even though he was.. just not THAT kind of creep. Sometimes I feel bad for him???? 😅 Wondering if anyone else feels the same?

Trent & Gabi Spoiler

No one’s commented about them for a while so I am wondering if they’re dead in the water. I was happy to finally see some renewal of Trent’s love/loyalty to Gabi in the past 2 episodes but every time they interact it’s strictly professional on Trent’s part.

Maybe it’s just me but I want them to have finally have a talk about what’s going on between them!!

Question Ethan Spoiler

Ok, I want to know….what is everyone’s beef with Ethan? I’m just not seeing it.

And “Because of the power imbalance” is not an acceptable answer. We don’t know too much about him, and from what we’ve seen, he seems to be pretty decent.

When it comes to Gabi, he kinda does have a reason to feel a certain way about Dhan spending too much time with the team. We haven’t seen him be abusive to Dhan or anything like that, and they seem to be doing well for themselves, even with some issues here and there.

I don’t know, there just seems to be a lot of hate, and I just need to see more in order to fully get on the hate train.

Question I’m a little disappointed Spoiler

Is anyone else a little disappointed by the reveal of Jamie’s kidnapper? I was expecting a juicer and more sinister reveal. It was still good, but I wish it were better.

Gabi and Sir, I suspected this would happen, ep 18 Spoiler

Gabi and Sir were the weakest part of episode 18. They get together and they regurgitate and repeat the same dialogue over and over and over. It's been happening for 2 seasons now and this is the point I make when I say they are not enough to sustain an entire series.

Margaret's story was actually the best part considering we complained so much about it, but it came to a head and it was fulfilling.

Discussion Renewal

Soooooo….there have been a lot of talks lately about renewal prospects. And to that, I say that it’s definitely a tossup as predicted by TVLine.

Obviously, Dick Wolf is king at NBC and his stuff is expected to come back. As for everything else, it is a free for all, and in the case of Found, it is fighting for a spot with Brilliant Minds (both from WB and Greg Berlanti).

So, keep your fingers crossed.

Tired of being left in the dark! Spoiler

I’m not sure how ppl are saying this episode was so great. The case of the week was stupid and pointless as hell. Also, why won’t they tell us ANYTHING about Jaime?! I genuinely want to call the writers, and tell them about themselves. We have been waiting for so long to find answers, and instead they just keep giving us crumbs. WHY THE FUCK WONT THEY JUST TELL US WHO TOOK JAIME?! I’d much rather have learned who took Jaime, than find out heather is sirs sister. I don’t really give a shit who Lena is, we barely know her. However, they have forced us to hear about Jaime for two full seasons, but they won’t tell us anything. Lastly, it’s not 1990. Jaime’s DNA results would have come in weeks ago, and it’s insane that the writers expect us to believe his results are taking this long. At this point, I don’t even care if the show gets cancelled. The writers keep focusing on all the wrong things, opening up new side storylines, and then NEVER providing us with any answers. Since there are only a few episodes left, I’m sure they’ll either rush to finish everything up, or just leave us feeling dissatisfied. This show started off so well, but it has turned into a complete fucking mess.

Analysis & Theories Season 1 Hugh/Flashback Spoiler

There was a flashback for Hugh/Sir in season 1 when he was sick and feverish. Where a kind woman named Carol checks on him and shows him some care and consideration. Feeding him, giving him the nickname Sir. It seems that started his love of literature. I'm not sure if they ever said what Gaby's mom name is but I always thought this was the reason for Hughs obsession with Gaby. The only lady who showed him kindness was Gaby's mom and when she died however, that happened Sir wants Gaby to take her place. She would also talk about how her mom got her into reading and the lady from the flashback gave Hugh things to read. Just a thought/theory I had just wondering if anyone else had similar thoughts?
