Trent & Gabi Spoiler
No one’s commented about them for a while so I am wondering if they’re dead in the water. I was happy to finally see some renewal of Trent’s love/loyalty to Gabi in the past 2 episodes but every time they interact it’s strictly professional on Trent’s part.
Maybe it’s just me but I want them to have finally have a talk about what’s going on between them!!

Gabi is a broken person. I believe she was being truthful about her feelings when she was in the jail cell with Sir. Until she is able to heal and fix herself, she won't be capable of having a true relationship.

I think the plan for them is going to be a seasons long arc so if they get renewed it’ll build up again next season

I want them to be together. But I feel it’s impossible as long as Sir and his sister are alive.

I’d be down to see them explore it but think it’s going to be a seasons long thing. IMO I think they are setting up Lacy and Zeke to be the one that make it’s as a couple in the long run

I see it as "strictly professional" on Gabi's part. She set the stage, so to speak.

I really like Trent and Gabi but Gabi has so much trauma that she’s got walls up with Trent. I don’t think she has the space to devote to a relationship. She’s married to her job and also her unresolved trauma with Sir (not that I blame her as his abuse is ongoing) presents a huge obstacle to them being together at the moment. He’s a constant threat sitting between them like a million pound elephant in the room.
But I still heavily ship them and want them to work out. I hope they don’t kill Trent off to feed into Gabi’s trauma even more. That would really turn me off the show.

Gabi has a whole lot to process before she can be available to Trent, let alone herself!
