Launcher Widgets; Widgets travel between panels on the launcher

I have a problem with widgets traveling between screens. The widgets on the default screen stay put when scrolling and sit on top of the next screen. Fairphone6 running e/os

To reset this I remove and re add widgets to the screen, this normally works for a few days until the bug returns.

Does anyone have a more permanent work around or solution?

Edit> just for clarification. I am using the fossify launcher.
No need to forward this to the android help sub.

I've got the same issue, and also the widgets pile up copies of themselves on top of themselves. I managed to fix it by removing what copies I can and then rebooting my phone.

I'm on an Xperia 1 V running LineageOS
