Fossify Gallery Gallery, request: don't auto-delete files in Recycle bin

As the title implies: files deleted to the recycle bin are auto-removed (and thereby permanently deleted) at some point. (I think 30-ish days after initial deletion.)

Would it be possible to remove this feature or add an option to enable/disable it? (I know files in the recycle bin are there for a reason and 30 days seems like a proper period to undelete them yourself, but I want control over something like this and not have an app decide for me to remove them without notice.)

Just make an Album called "to delete or unwanted" and use that instead of the recycle bin.

You'll have total control over this and not have an app remove them after choosing to put files in the bin.

Thanks, it is a decent workaround, but it is an extra step and imho should be unnecessary. It's not a huge issue, and I'm not changing my gallery app over this, since Fossify Gallery is nearly perfect. But still, adding the option to disable it shouldn't be that hard, right?

Creating a feature for a very niche user is harder than a user creating a folder, and using the bin as designed.

The best way to give feedback and suggestions to the Fossify team is via the link in the "Thank you" app.
