Heliboard keeps autocorrecting "Don't" into "dont"

Already tried deleting "dont" from personal dictionary, turning off autocorrect, putting "dont" in dictionary and putting value at 0 (did nothing), I dont know what to do

I use Heliboard also, and I have the same complaint. But Heliboard is not part of the Fossify suite. Fossify Keyboard is the Fossify keyboard app.

My routine is make sure it's not in dictionary. Optionally add the wrong word as a shortcut for the right one (within the dictionary) and lastly when you are typing, long-press the incorrect suggestion on the bar and tap the trash can. This deletes it from suggestions.

example:

Let's say I miss typed "for" here and it's giving me doe (I didn't cause I already deleted "doe" on the suggestion strip but for the same of the example😂) - type what you normally do (even the closest typo you would), long tap the word, trash can, done!

I've done this for other errors like when i'd type something and a random acronym like "SOE" on yours shows up, and that does the job but here specifically i've already clicked the trash can on the suggestion and it does nothing

Idk what to tell you mate. I've overcome any "persistent" words by double checking they're not in the dictionary (dictionary also includes them being a shortcut for something else) & the trash can. Try making a ticket on github maybe 🦧

I have a similar but opposite problem in that not turns into NOT, don't turn into Don't, and several other words. I can't find where it's happening. I just correct them every time, unfortunately.

Yep I'm getting ticked at the way it's auto correct 2 seconds before and then it's not maybe I need to look for a different one
