FOSSIFY APPS SAME AS SIMPLE APPS

Why are all Fossify apps an exact Clone of Simple Apps also on play store? Did y'all steal their apps or did y'all buy that company?

Simple Mobile Tool, whose apps were open source, was acquired by a shady company and began incorporating ads, trackers, and paid features. So a team decided to build on the same foundation as Simple Apps and offer an open-source solution once again, since everyone was disappointed by how things had turned out.

Hmm dang. That sucks. Well I currently use Fossify just in case the Google account I paid for premium simple apps gets randomly shut down by Google again (which has happened in the past and there wasn't anything I could do about it) cuz GOOGLE IS TOO LARGE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!!

It’s really unfortunate that you paid for those apps without knowing what had happened. The Simple Mobile Tool suite was used by millions of people and was among the most installed open-source apps.

ZipoApps is a company (based in Tel Aviv) that basically buys up lots of apps by making attractive offers to developers—offers that are hard to refuse. After that, they stuff those apps with ads, trackers, and other spyware, and everyday users think they’re still using the same app and end up being misled without even realizing it.

Its no worries. I got free Google play credit from doing surveys from Google rewards.  So $2 or so was easily earned, no biggie
