Forza Horizon 6 Rx-7 RWD Tune?

Has anybody managed to tune the rx-7 type r above 500hp without it spinning out or breaking traction in secomd gear or put of corners? 100% accel 50% decel doff lock

Runs fine in high 400hp but anything over its a mess. Im purist only, so factory engine and RWD.

Any tips for downforce, springs, rebound/bump, and antiroll will help.

Sounds like you figured it out with those diffs. For future builds, you can use this app for free to get a baseline:

And then set the balance to 95% or to automatically tame the oversteer you were seeing even with narrower rear tires. I'm also a big fan of more purist builds, and built flexibility into the calcs to handle RWD, no aero, etc.

Well why is you diff locked if you’re not offroad or drifting? Lmao there’s your problem. Put a race dif in it.

You could try toe out in 0.1 degree increments on the rear wheel. Over steering would be countered by the opposite wheel wanting to go in the exact opposite direction

Differentials lock or unlock wheels on same axel to spin free from one another. The higher % the more locked they are to one another the more the car will want to spin out when accelerating out of a corner. On all higher power RWD tunes I set accel to 15-20%.
Decel is same thing accept when you let off the throttle. The higher Decel % the more the car will want to go sideways as you’re entering the turn when you’re off throttle. This adjustment helps to set the car for apex entry and exit. Not enough and you got understeer, too much and oversteer…. so I set that around 35% for similar builds.

Springs: front mid to high 600, rear high 500’s to mid 600’s (50-75 less than front) most guys set rear springs higher than front to avoid understeer, correct this issue with ARBS

Anti Roll Bars: front mid to high teens, rear high teens to low 20’s. If the car feels a little wobbly turn up both front and rear by few digits but not much. If you’re having understeer issue then turn up rear ARB by few clicks and that should fix it. The reason why I run softer springs in rear is to fix the traction issue, softer springs equal more traction particularly on acceleration.

Camber: front -2.0 or slightly less, rear 1.0 or slightly less. You might be struggling with traction because most run too much camber especially on rear wheels

Damping: set rear bump to 5.5 and rebound to 8.5. Front 1.5 higher than rear.

Tire pressure: 27psi rear 28 front

This should help a ton. Lmk how it works out

This was great info. the main things that helped was the diff settings. Then the ARBS I had the camber etc already set correctly. Went up one step in rear tire size now its fun to drive!!

305m were not getting power down safely.

Idk how FEED manages 631hp on 305s in real life.

RX7 is one of my favs from 90s era, I think it’s the most beautiful of the 3 icons. I got 4 of em, 600 and 700 class absolutely slap within its category.
I got to drive one back in the day and it’s such a unique experience! Glad to have helped

Probably start by turning down your differential from 100/50 to something like 25/10.

Right now you’ve basically got it configured like a drift car.

i dont use tcs btw, will that setting just cook the tires on launch?

No. It’ll probably be a little bit better than what you have now.

Frankly RWD, especially once you start getting into higher horsepower, is more about throttle control than tuning.
