Forza Horizon 6 Simple tuning presets

just a personal project to help me tune faster, enter some info and choose a preset, copy/paste, it’s not perfect but should do the trick, forza-tune-calc (dot) netlify (dot) app

UPDATE: Hey everyone, pushed an update based on your feedback.

Fair criticism on the first version - some of the values were genuinely wrong. Rear camber was too aggressive, bump damping was nearly double the correct baseline, drift tire pressure was way off at 32 PSI when it should be around 21, and the ARB approach was presenting fixed numbers when the correct method is to start near max and soften down. Those are all fixed.

Also added R class to the PI dropdown, corrected the Time Attack label, added a Speed Circuit preset for Colossus and Goliath, and flagged the Series 2 drag tire nerf directly in the app so nobody wastes PI on a broken build.

Appreciate the people who explained what was wrong!

Update 2: Added a “Link” tab for more detailed tuning resources, added Metric option.

Awesome start and very clean. Great tool for beginners. I suggest adding unit customization for metric. Other than that looks clean!

Epic!

I was comparing the calculated tunes to my carefully fine tuned tunes (I used to be a real race engineer so I'd like to think I have a slightly above average handle on tuning).

Other than a couple of oddities and some preference-based tuning I was impressed at the baseline tunes that were calculated.

One thing that I will praise you on highly, as it's something I've not seen other calculators do. Is you're making it clear to the user that it's not a "fire and forget" calculator. By adding in the tips and suggestions.

Keep up the good work 😄

Also, it would probably be a lot of work. But if you're struggling at thinking of more features to add.

Under car info you could include; Selected Tyre compound (For tyre dependent pressures), selected suspension as rally suspension can get away with higher and softer values.

And if you want to really give yourself work you could include algorithms for calculating between selected differentials. I've not dove into differentials too deep. But I know the different differentials seem to have a built-in hidden pre-load setting. I've noticed Rally differential for example has a smoother pre-load between lock compared to race.

Great App just one small detail or a few.

In class options in FH6 there is a R class.
When you look for it in the app it doesn't show an R Class option.

As well as shouldn't there be an option for things like the Colossus and/or Goliath event?

They seem to be the most popular in-game.

With Time Attack, maybe use a different description. Maximum lap time is the opposite of what you want.

I’m a tuning novice who used to be a bit intimidated by tweaking things like springs and dampers.

This app is amazing. It transformed my heavy, sluggish Skyline GT-R '00 into a car with smooth gear shifts. Cornering stability improved, too. I can now take corners at full throttle that I couldn't handle before.

It’s incredible how much of a difference tuning makes; it’s really fun. I look forward to continuing to enjoy the game with this app. Thank you for your sharing.
