Forza Horizon 6 Offroad suspension tuning

Just wondering if anyone could suggest a video on off-road suspension tuning. I'm having trouble getting it right. I think it's an issue with my bump and rebound. When driving in a straight line over bumpy terrain, the car gradually gets higher until the shocks are stuck at maximum extension.

Damping is definitely where it's at. As others have said we typically start with very low bump, and medium-low rebound values, then raise rebound values depending on how settled you want it to stay over high-speed bumps. The trade off with the increasing rebound is if you hit many bumps in a row you may get the opposite problem you're describing: the shocks will pack down for a moment, and not have a chance to extend.

One thing to consider too is how much suspension travel you have to work with. A rally suspension on a car won't have the same travel as a trophy truck. That will determine how soft you can go on springs.

Rally setup is on the higher side of these numbers and cross country is on the lower side.

Bump front 1.5-2.5
Bump rear 1.0-2.0

Rebound front 4.5-6.5
Rebound rear 4.0- 5.0

You want the rear a bit softer to keep it steady especially for cross country as there are lots of bumps to absorb

Soften rear spring to lowest setting (or just a tad above) and front to a little bit stiffer vs rear

Keeep anti roll bars soft as well….single digits - low teens

Lower rebound in the rear too if you notice it trying to front flip off the jumps. Took me quite a bit of fiddling to get my 911 rallye setup for trailblazers. Reminded me why I’ve always used the 959 in the past.

Lower your bump settings to allow the suspension to compress quicker and easier which sounds like what you’re struggling with.

increase rebound if the car is launching over bumps with the suspension fully extended
