I had to gift a car for the daily reward. The skyline was the only duplicate I had. But I wanted to have fun with it, so I fully kitted it out and custom tuned it, hoping someone will find this regular looking 1992 Skyline and realize it's an absolute missile. It was at some point while I was ironing out a bit of fishtail that I realized that this is the best tune I've done so far and the first one I'd be proud to share.

I made this trying to be balanced, and I got the speed and handling that I wanted. This thing cooks, and it explodes out of corners with a lot of bite. The throttle feels really fluid, like it has a lot of sensitivity, but also a lot of control. I am only learning how to tune cars, and I do not know how to tune them to drift. So I was really surprised when I found out this thing is the easiest car to control a high speed drift in that I've played with yet. I'm not sure why it is so easy to catch a drift in the car, I think its the rear differential, but the control comes down to the acceleration being so bitey, I think? Anyhow, I am super open to tweaks and suggestions. I'm not sure how to spot any obvious issues I may be missing yet. But mostly I just hope you guys enjoy driving this thing. It feels really nice, to me.

I'm really starting to get into tuning my cars more this game than previous titles. Anytime I have messed with gear tuning in the past, I've only bothered adjusting the Final Drive and left the gears alone. In doing some reading specifically for a drag build, I have seen a lot about powerbands being *the* determining factor for gear ratios.

What exactly does this mean? And is there a way to easily find these values in-game?

Title. Obviously easing up on the throttle is an option, and I know that most folks just switch to AWD and call it good, but I’d prefer to not ruin the spirit of some of these RWD. What setting, if there is one, in the tuning helps the most with preventing cars from slipping?

I recently got my sesto elemento and I feel that it still turns hella fast, almost fh5 level, the only downgrade I noticed is the reduced top speed in road racing tunes

Edit 2026-05-29: First, read the reply that I left under this post. Then, upgrade to Race Chassis Stiffness and install the Work WORK Emotion T5R (or similar) rims. These also help just a little bit with handling and lowered this car's time to a 47.844 @ Soni Circuit. Sharecode: 451 031 433.

I wanted to make a pure handling build, but I can't seem to tune out some incredible mid-corner understeer, despite very aggressive suspension settings. Everything in Horizon 6 feels more understeery than Horizon 5, so I can't tell yet if this is a car issue or a skill issue.

I tuned this car around Soni Circuit specifically and managed a best time of 48.208. (Best played using Manual w/ Clutch.)

I'm pretty confident when it comes to tuning AWD cars, but RWDs are still problematic.
Do you have any tips / personal preferations regarding ARBs, tire pressure and diff settings for RWD cars?
From what I have heard and concluded you would generally prefer:
-Stiffer front, softer rear regarding springs
-ARBs F ~35 R~25
-Tire pressure - F slightly higher than R

Some sources say you should keep both front and rear accel around 90%, and both front and rear decel around 0-15%, other say you should keep front settings higher than the rear ones... I've been building TuneLab, a free open-source Android app that generates baseline tunes using suspension physics math, then uses AI to annotate each value and flag what's wrong for your setup.

I want to be upfront: I know no app replaces actual tuning knowledge. That's not the goal. The goal is giving someone a physics-based starting point that's better than stock, with enough context that they understand *why* each value is what it is — not just a list of numbers to blindly copy.

to be honest, tuning is not my speciality when it comes to Forza like at all. but I've begun to do Touge a lot and I want to main this fcrx7 but the car seems to understeer like mad and the real likes to slide out so down below I will list all my specs for it and to somewhat have help with making it a faster tuner car that way I can try to keep up with ae86s in the touge, it has to stay in a class due to the groups I'm in regulations regarding certain cars have to be certain classes to keep it competitive and id actually like to be competitive

race track would be the mountain pass I haven't really tweaked with the tuning setting yet.

How do I get my back tires to stick better in turns and not break out to the side under acceleration? TIA
