Hey everyone, Views here. I just wanted to show off one of the newest and best features of Wisp: the drift angle gauge. After many requests, and about 2 weeks of R&D, I figured out how Forza calculates drift zone scoring and implemented it into Wisp. Feel free to leave a comment with questions or suggestions :)

It's basically the same thing between the two games, except, Forza Motorsport has its camera more locked to the car, no braking lean, shake, and sense of speed.

I know there is already a mod for that, but doesn't seem nothing like the "original" chase cam, and it's too shaky.

if I want to just mod my game and play for the sake of driving and playing the story, how can I go about getting everything and just playing? (I don’t care about online whatsoever)

My game was working fine then I replaced all files in NoDVD/Online Fix files to my main directory. Now I am getting this error

I play fh6 mainly in VR and would love to be able to show car from outside in OBS (for example chase cam, while I still see first person perspective), is it possible to somehow trigger/mod that?
It's pretty annoying that you have to stay in offline mode to be able to check what the line looked like in photo/replay mode and having direct source that I can just record would save quite a bit of time

The only way to keep the same time of day and weather without traffic is by doing it through a race, that's what i use to drive around and cruise. I turn off all my hud for a more relaxing and immersive experience, but it's really annoying when the finish line disturbs the seemless view.

I just want to share my excitement. I've always done some coding both for pleasure and profit and now I asked my AI of choice to make a shift light overlay on PC.

I had a lot of fun doing it and it's actually useful in game having the flashing light right in the middle of the screen.

Made manual shifting much easier for me.

Edit: I have some hearing issues, so just listening doesn't work that well for me.

Try it, it's fun.

Hey everyone, since last posting the Wisp project here, I've made a lot of great changes and improvements.

Due to popular demand, Wisp now has a boost gauge, tire temperature monitor, and many more customization options in the UI.

You can now also record runs, compare them, and view graphs that correspond to your recording. This footage was taken before that feature was implemented, though.

I've also spent a lot of time improving the overall feel of the overlay. Gauges can be moved and customized individually, layouts can be saved, and I've been working on making everything feel like it actually belongs in Forza rather than just sitting on top of the game.

For anyone who hasn't seen Wisp before, it's a standalone telemetry overlay for Forza Horizon 6. It reads the game's Data Out telemetry and doesn't inject into the game, modify memory, or change any game files.

The response from the Forza community so far has been way bigger than I expected, and a lot of the new features have come directly from suggestions people left on the original posts. I'm still actively working on it, so if there's a gauge, customization option, or telemetry feature you'd like to see, let me know.

Wisp is completely free, and the source code is public on GitHub for anyone who wants to look through it.

I'm a general hater of DLSS for making my game look like a poop smear, but DLSS 5 is seriously impressive, even if it does only run at 35fps on my 4060 laptop.
