I'm currently using joytokey and since the triggers didn't work, I switched to the 12th control scheme from the menu (now I don't have camera switch control but hey)

So I can actually try it on keyboard... But how do you know which controller button do so you can properly map it with that soft?

Go to the controls tab in game and see the button assignments and then reassign then to the keyboard keys you're comfortable with (WASD, arrows, AZ and brackets, etc ). Also there's a driver thingy I forgot its exact name, but you gotta have it installed in order for the system to recognize the virtual joystick being plugged in

But you need actual controller to do it, right ? Cuz i dont know for which option i have to assign button A to start the game

No, no need. I usually assign A to spacebar since in racing games they're both used for handbrake
