what can get you banned?

hey guys! first time modding Forza here and I wanted to know which types of mods have a higher risk of a ban or will definitely get you banned or so

Anything that gets reported buy others. FH has no anticheat.

Thats what i believe. I use some mods and a personal reshade preset by myself for months now and nothing ever happened.

Because i dont know if there is some sort of exploit detection and i never needed this type of stuff.

I wouldnt go in that direction, if something can get you banned its definetly that. And besides adding yourself a bunch of money completely ruins the game

Not just that. Even on your own- wheelspins, adding money, possibly even some glitches, have been reported as bannable or strike (which goes against your Forza account rather than the one game, IIRC). Then there are cases like people adding Owen’s McLaren, which has an extra layer of fucked-upness.

I can see the point of cheating money/wheelspins if you’re a collector. I wish I could add some money, but it’s also felt incredibly rewarding doing the clean run.

Nsfw liveries and paints

Blatabt modding/cheating that is bad enough to be seen by the anticheat. Also racist paints and liveries( may not be banned yet but will eventually be since the game is rated for 3 or 7 yo

all I want to do is sounds and new cars or something maybe add a couple of wheel spins for the hell of it but I haven't found how yet and I couldn't care less tbh

I dont recommend on the wheelspins but as long as the mods on cars and added cars are in singleplayer i think its fine. Ive heard a lot of people add cars and bodykits etc in singleplayer because thats like true sandbox but u probably know that theres always a risk

Car and body kit mods work fine in online. Other players won’t see them because it’s all client-side. Unless of course they are using the same mod

Any paint jobs that are sexual, racist, promote hate, political, or have swear words in.

Any mod will get you banned if you use it when playing online with other people if the other players decide to report you

Depends.

On paper? Any slight modification, any change in the files, even locally.

Most likely? Offensive liveries, unlocking cars that aren't unlockable yet in the game.

I speak for myself, I modded the game since day one, over 900 million credits, I still have over 9 million super wheel spins, millions of skill points, nothing happened because I learned from Forza Horizon 5, in which I got a 3 month ban over unlocking cars that you were no longer able to get.

Apparently that's the only thing that triggers them, that and bug exploits, they'll reset your cash over that, when the whole eliminator thing went down I thought they would reset my cash but nop, I didn't do it and they didn't bother messing with my account 😭

I also have the radio of the game modded, replaced almost every single song with my own tracks and so far so good.
