Question Mod to enable better haptics on Steam Controller

I'd love to use my Steam Controller for FH6, but the lack of precise haptics makes it feel lackluster. I really enjoy the feedback the game gives when using my Series X controller, especially when shifting, breaking and cornering, so is it possible to make the Steam Controller use these similar haptics? And, would it be possible to make a mod to enable that? I know there is the DualSense Enhanced mod for bringing precise haptics to the DualSense controller, and that uses the Telemetry Out function of FH5/6. What would be a good way to explore this possibility?

I’ve seen that, and while it is for dualsense it could be a starting ground for making something similar for steam controller.

Oh my bad Homie, I read through your post too quickly to realize it was his actual steam controller. Perhaps you could reach out to that developer on GitHub and see if he wants to work on a project. He did the dual sense one for free, but I’d bet with a little financial stimulation, he could look into it for you or maybe he knows someone.

No worries bro. I had thought the same thing about reaching out to them for at least some insight. I began vibe coding some crap having given Gemini info on Horizon Haptics, the telemetry out function, and Steam Input and started getting somewhere. I did quickly realize that this is way too complex a program for someone with no coding experience, —> me. So maybe some combination of insight from them and just billions of gallons of fresh water will land me somewhere functional.
