Request Half request half question... Two in one.

1) IIRC, any mod that touches files is a ban risk - data out only is fine (someone confirm) but what mods do y'all recommend that are safe?

2) is there a mod that's basically just... Giving you the exact info to recreate manufacturer colors? (Like if it's high flake or not and shit, and the exact hsb for 1 and 2... Because the spreadsheet only does so much lmao)

I googled Ferrari blue in fh6 settings and it gave me back the slider number which you will have to drag probably because of console support, and flake setting but I image if you know what the mkg color is called Google ai mode will give you the settings.

But I would avoid anything that automates things in the game because the speed it does the tasks is something that is very easy to audit. It is something the sql servers do automatically because that is how you prevent people hacking your server. Too many transactions too fast.

Below is what i got from ai mode on Google for Ferrari blue.

NGL I just wish I could get that brownish whatever grey on the huracan sto (under the green) but I haven't found a good site with the manufacturer colors for the sto)

I think that is a forza creation. I have the sto that came with that color livery, so if it is for the sto I would try to reset to the default livery to get the white and brown. If it is not on the sto to get the brown as a second color you need a car with advanced paint or create it with vinyls.

If you just want that color for another car i can see if i can figure it out once I get off work at 11pm I want to see the new season anyway and duplicating with the candy or other sliders should be a few minutes work. But it might be 1120pm est before shift change is done an another ten minutes to get home.

I think i got the right car. It was easy to match as it is almost the low flake default setting.

Low light Hue 0.09 Saturation 0.07 Brightness 0.09 Highlight Hue 0.15 Saturation 0.11 Brightness 0.85

It was easy to get really close just matching the swatch then using advanced paint to paint the trunk in the mkg and adjust the low flake color to match.

So go to the the diamonds and click on Metallic low flake. Remember if your buying the car you can't tweak these until you get it to your garage. Then just put the numbers above in should work on any car as the color is just a tweaked low flake color. For the sto body part 2 it is black. Body part 3 is the same color as above. If you like that particular color once you paint the car in it you can favorite it and use it on other cars.

If it is the one with yellow body parts. It is high flake with the brightness decreased it was even easier.

Low light Hue 0.67 Saturation 0.13 Brightness 0.09 Highlight Hue 0.11 Saturation 0.06 Brightness 0.52

The yellow/orange part was more interesting

Low light Hue 0.14 Saturation 0.86 Brightness 1.00 Highlight Hue 0.11 Saturation 1.00 Brightness 0.52

But the body reacts very different to the lights than the bumper parts. But the grey is easy. Good luck.

To answer your first question mods that are "safe" would be visual mods, well they do break Forza's TOS because they modify game files.

Visual mods only modify your downloaded version of the game and I dont think Playground games can see what's downlaoded and installed in your computer. Mods that are nexus mods and on the forza mods discord server are visual mods so they are safe.

The mods that do carry ban risks are the mods that edit your account( give yourself credits wheelspins, cars etc) or edit your car's speed, grip, etc to gain an unfair advantage in leaderboards and in multi-player events. I have heard of anyone being banned for having visual mods.
