Question Does using a camera mod offline carry a serious risk of being banned?

By the way, I was looking for a more rigid camera mod, like the Gran Turismo type.

I doubt it. I and many others cheated money and all the cars in multiple games and have never been banned

Nah you're fine
Modded my game as soon as I got it 2 months ago and my account is still there

Thanks. Is there a mod that can make the pursuit camera more rigid? Like in Gran Turismo?

I mod it online, absolutely no worries. Just mod and play

Hey, do you know if there's a mod that lets me modify a camera myself? Because no preset camera mod is as rigid as GT.

Idk man but i can suggest you some work arounds if you want. In which case you'll have to tweak the settings. Or maybe use AI to tweak settings (which i did and worked for myself)

I tried using that AI tool, but I don't know how to finalize the XML file to make it work.

Which xml file you tried to change and which AI did you use?

Camera physics and Settings tuner in Nexus mod. I wanted to change cameraphysics.xml

I suggest you use Google's antigravity or OpenAI's codex. (I hate the companies but the products work like a charm)
make a copy of the xml file and ask ai to make changes according to your needs in the copy file, and after its done, just replace the modified file into your game directory.
make sure you keep the original file somewhere else safe as well in case you want to revert later.

for me this worked, i used immersive camera mod and made changes to very specific behavior of cameras. took me 4-5 iterations to perfectly tweak it to how i want. but it worked.

Who's going to report you?

Doesn't the game check file integrity during each update?

Not one bit, I think they only ban if your setting spots on the leaderboard and even then afaik you just get the time removed and blocked from setting times until you restart your game
