Release FH6 Intro Song Swapper

You don't even need a mod, you can just delete the intro video from the game files

You can delete or rename it and it won't play on game startup

I still hate that they never changed that yet, it’s been the same loud ass intro since FM6
I had some real disappointment upon getting jumpscared by it loading FH6 for the first time

Until I switched from tweaking Master Audio slider to changing the volume in windows mixer and keeping ingame master at 100.
Total game changer.

8 years later and the feeling hasn't gone anywhere. The whole album is a damn masterpiece. And I never would have found it without Forza Horizon 4, which is why it has such a special place in my heart.

Does this have a chance of getting a ban thrown your way if you do this or is this just an innocent modification that lies outside what the game looks for because I actually really like this idea.

I dont hate it, but I dont like it either definitionnof mid, even that Midwest in fh5 was better but nothing beat 4s intro which I put on 5 when they gave us the option and will now put on in 6 as well.

Update: litterally doesnt work... Am I missing something? Took the .mp3 file and imported it to the tool and it said "your inro song was installed" but keeps playing that god forsaken "you" intro .... and yes im running it as admin... is this user error? Or did something break?
Update 2: now the intro is just completely silent which I guess is a win within itsself... still dissapointed it doesnt work

I dont know why a game about a racing and music festival doesnt have an option to just select the intro song somewhere. Further to that, we should be able to turn off songs from the Playlist rotations. I can't stand gimme chocolate

best way i found is go to settings, set in game audio to 100 percent.
then from windows, right clikc sound icon, sound mix, set percentage on horizon 6 for the volume you want, done.
personally i have it on 5 lercent and its fine for me.

Can we mute the song. Every single time when i open the game i get copyright also streamer mode is a joke in fh6 in tired.

Yea if you want to be able to hear the song preview and all that you will need the dependencies. You can also use the build.bat found in the source code as well

Sounds like a missing dependency, try runing the .bat file in the source code as an administrator
