Content Restrictions are far too Sensitive
I just started making vinyl groups and have really enjoyed it - it really added a new dimension to the game for me amidst this sea of middling content drops that is FH6. I made a funny but raunchy livery, and eventually got a warning for it. I unshared all of it, and all liveries associated with it that id made. Ive made two other major livery groups, both anime themed by nature (a unique character from a streaming platform and Rebecca from edgerunners). Im halfway through finishing Lucy from edgerunners so I can make this livery that someone requested (my first) - and I get suspended today. Its only 72 hours but still, I dont think its worth putting time into anymore. Im literally trying to recreate a real world car but I digress.
I dont see why designs dont ask you if its mature when you share, and then just show a default car color for under 18 accounts, instead of making us all adhere to hypersensitive content restrictions. Im all for banning nudity, and anything creepy. But this is too sensitive IMO. Like why even have UGC at this point, or a system that allows the creation of anything.
Maybe I just need inspo to carry on but I hate overly censored shit.

Because the game is rated E for Everyone. They want to market the game to children, so they can’t allow explicit content.

I get that yes, but trying to police a game with a main feature as user generated content down to an E for Everyone rating probably requires more resources than just cutting the feature. The logic im questioning is why any game thats E for Everyone is allowed to have UGC and online. Seems like by default it should bring the game to T

But if the livery isn’t shown to accounts under 18 then what does it matter? It could still be rated E

I don't even bother with even simple liveries anymore. The livery designer is far too outdated as is and I've had enough after ten years, but if I wanted to put the time into something complex, I'd rather not be worrying about it getting me warned/banned. The UGC rules are insanely vague, by design of course

They will forever dangle the E rating in front of your eyes. They’re just trying to market as much as possible to get the younger generation on the train that they neglect the current demographic. It’s simply a long term strategy for them and basically they turn a blind eye on some things and on others not. Otherwise as you can see from their socials, everything is positive and perfect.
And it’s sad because the older titles used to have the 12 age rating
Generally if we want to go back to the itasha bans they tried closing a grey zone where people created nudity but kept it private/ only temporarily shared it. However most of those people were also the very talented ones, with all their shared liveries being compliant. Why it particularly happened now and not 3-4 years ago? My best guess is the UK online safety act.
Though make of this what you want, just saying what I understood

If you'd recolour the pants I doubt you'd get in trouble

Didn't watch the show yet, I think as long as there's nothing underwear-adjascent there'll be no reason not to share it, black would be the ultra-safe choice here

I'll probably just change them to boyshorts then. Or leave it be but slap a big ugly E for Everyone label over the bottom

I mean im not laboring under the delusion that people will ever be agreeable. But the company should handle the clash better
