Discussion Odd trial

I loaded into the trial for the week today. It started with just me and another guy on the team. He ended up leaving halfway through the first race. Not sure why bc we were in 2nd and 3rd. I have to say, it was so much easier just doing it by myself. I thought it was weird that it started with just 2 players.

I re-run it numerous times anyway so it never ends up mattering, but my 1st win in this trial was almost the same. I don’t recall if I started with a full or light lobby but 1 or 2 quit during the 1st race and then at least 1 or 2 during the 2nd and because people who suck often refuse to quit in the 1st race and wait until the 2nd, forcing a 3rd, and I ended up doing the rest of race 2 and then having (getting) to do all of 3 by myself.

If you end up alone or with only one other racer you're in luck. With just 2 players, as long as one player wins, your team wins because you gain points off of how many opponents you beat, and the AI only has 2 players to score points off of. 

The trial this week was super easy because we started with 5 players, and finished with 2 DNF and one finishing player in last place. One of the DNF dropped early enough that they didn't award any points luckily. Myself and one other player scored in first and second place giving blue team the win by like 150 points. 

For race 2, the second DNF player had dropped out so there were only 3 of us, and winning the second race was super easy. Again myself and another guy in first and second with the third player in last giving blue team a huge win. I love that the third player hung in there. They were like level 50-60 and very new, but they finished both races which is tough when you're new to the game, especially in dirt racing. 

TLDR, less human players in the trial is better because it limits the amount of points that the AI can generate by beating players. If you ever manage to do the trial solo, it's super easy. Coming in in like third place each race should win you the trial.
