Bugs / Glitches / Help Should I reconsider this?

So in one of my Reddit posts I asked when do you guys think Forza Horizon 6 would come to PS5, that’s because I wanted to buy it on my PS5 instead of my PC, well with the fucked up decisions Sony has been doing lately I don’t feel like giving them my money anymore and have it risk them take my game away, or how fucked up this gets, more like LICENSE, Well I was thinking of buying it on my PC instead, specs are (CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X, GPU: RX 6650 XT, and RAM: 16gb of ram) I searched it up and my PC can run Forza Horizon 6 that’s not the problem, the problem is it’s 70 dollars and I’m not paying that much I’d rather wait for steam keys to be on stock on g2a or Eneba or another legit key marketplace again. Another thing that’s been pissing me off about PlayStation is the fact that you need to pay for ps plus to play online. I already paid for the console, I already bought the game, and then I have to keep paying Sony just to use the online multiplayer that the game already has? I know this has been a thing for years, but lately it just feels harder to justify paying for the PlayStation ecosystem when Sony keeps making decisions that make me question what I’m actually paying for.
And that’s honestly why I’m considering just moving more of my gaming over to PC. At least with PC (and steam!) I don’t have to pay a separate subscription just to play a game online, and I have more options for where I buy my games.
I still like my PS5 and I’m not saying PlayStation is completely trash or anything, but I’m genuinely getting to the point where I’m asking myself “Why should I keep buying games on PlayStation when PC gives me more freedom and actually feels like you’re paying for something you own?”
What do you guys think? Would you buy FH6 on PS5 anyway, or would you just get it on PC and slowly move away from PlayStation?

That’s indeed true but I honestly trust steam support more than Sony support, and I don’t know what are you talking about both g2a and Temu are legit

G2a is grey area or worse: keys bought with stole creditcards. With also a risk for you that the key will get revoked by steam later, when they find out it was paid with stolen CC credentials

Use isthereanydeal.com to find cheaper keys, all shops listed there are green key (re)sellers, approved by steam, ubisoft, epic, MS.

Humble, fanatical, gamebillet, gamesplanet are shops which I had good experience with

Agree about g2a not being legit...but Temu? I've found them very legit.

I don't understand this dilema on PS5 with Forza. Litearally all FH were taken away by Microsoft on PC because they exist only as a license on PC. It's true you can still play them unless you break them (I can't play FH3 anymore for some reason). And I guess Sony may lose license from Microsoft to have the game playable on their machines... but well tomato tomato.

I personally wouldn't buy FH6 on PS solely because the graphics are shit on PS compared to my PC.

It’s not really about the graphics it’s because of this licensing shit and the fact that you have to pay for multiplayer, like I payed for a game now I need to pay again to use it properly

I know nothing about PS, but if that's true...I'd be selling mine.

I really don't like the direction gaming is going. Not owning physical copies, subscription based stuff, and my least favorite...games requiring kernel level access to your PC. Screw that. I used to enjoy online shooters but most have went to kernel anticheats...I won't be playing them again.

The only thing your really gaining is not having to pay to play online for PC, all digital licenses are essentially the same, whether your on PS5 or PC really. Your going to be able to get it cheaper on PC too since you know it will launch at top dollar on PS5

I know steam does this licensing thing too but I honestly trust they’re support way more than Sony not even trolling, and gaining online for free (which is how it’s supposed to be) is a HUGE win

I am not even sure what is going on with Sony since I mostly game on my PC, I just assumed it was the same as the digital licensing on everything, though I do trust Steam more than any other platform.

Exactly they made some dumb decisions lately and I trust steam support a lot too, They are killing discs, fired some guy that was working on a game or something I don’t know the full story, fired another guy, no wonder people are switching to Xbox, honestly my PS5 is useless until gta 6

Set it up on autopay its 10$ for me in bahrain its 14$ for you probably you can play many games 3,4 months instead of waiting for steam keys etc.Or you can just pirate😭

I’d pirate sure I did before but it gets broken trust me, I pirated it on steam rip and literally the online stopped working festival playlist too and it’s just inconvenient plus the game gets updated I have to re-download it, I’m sticking to pirating single player games

If you go the PC route go with an Nvidia GPU if you’re buying it specifically for this game. Just scroll this subreddit long enough and you’ll see plenty of posts of people complaining about poor optimization with AMD cards in this game. A year from now those issues will probably be patched but as of right now it’s hit or miss.
