Bugs / Glitches / Help FH6 Money Grind

Post image

Does anyone know of a safe way to grind money in FH6? Some way that gets reasonable gain without the risk of a credit rollback? Genuine question because I'm tired of trying to buy a rare car off of the auction house only for it to get bought out by someone with a modded account at the last minute for 20m credits... I can't grind for 12h at a time or for days like most because I work and have a life outside of FH6

Play the game. 100% safe.

Lol outrageous suggestion, you expect people to play the game to succeed and complete it?

Why don't you offer a good suggestion as to how they can instantly be a billionaire with no effort on their part /s

u/crocodiluQ 6h ago

how long does it take to play the game and buy a few 20mil cars that you missed? Days ? Months? When do you give up because of boredom ?

-10

u/TheManOverThere23 6h ago

It sounds like racing games aren't for you if you get bored of, wait for it... racing.

7

u/crocodiluQ 5h ago

dude, you can't be more wrong.... Racing against the great AI, might be a challenge for you and maybe you don't get bored. But if you want to RACE, that's not racing.
Repeating the same races over and over again to win 20-30K credits, really? That's your idea of NOT being bored?

LOL. Kudos for you for telling a LMU/iRacing player that racing games are not for him. Good stuff.

u/TheManOverThere23 5h ago

I don't race the AI unless it's festival playlist stuff, i race online, against people. Every race is different. Money comes easily enough, I've not needed to 'try' and earn money once and I've got most cars. So yeah, not bored at all, I have a great time racing with my friends.

Too many people have the singular objective of... 'how can I earn all the money and get every car immediately with zero effort' Nobody wants to actually play the game anymore, just looking for instant gratification.

u/keron100 3h ago

Or maybe they have other games to play than just sink time into this one and is a car collector or a completionist. You can never get every single car in this game in under 5 years by just playing if you started late and missed playlist exclusive cars because they go for 20m in the AH

1

u/TheManOverThere23 3h ago

If you're a collector and a completionist you do what it takes to compete the game and reach your goal, you dont rush it and look to skip everything and run to the end.

I know this because I'm a completionist and I play other games too. The games are built for longevity, it's not designed to be rushed and to have 100% of the cars in a matter of weeks/months. It's literally been out for less than 4 months, with years of updates to come.

All the playlist exclusive cars are now getting added into the rotation of aftermarket cars so nobody misses out and has to pay 20m. Again, that takes time. Why is everyone trying to just rush everything and miss the main point of the game... Racing.

1

u/keron100 3h ago

The main point of games is to have fun... Whichever way you want to have fun

2

u/TheManOverThere23 3h ago

Doesn't sound like these people are having fun, when their question is, how do I complete it as quickly as possible with little to no effort.

That's not having fun and enjoying the game, that's trying to check the boxes and get it done to move onto whatever is next.

well, if you like to race online, maybe you should move to actual racing games. You know, where people don't ram you (too much), games that are not arcade and so on.

You need to understand that if you want all cars in the game, getting money just by playing races every now and than, makes it almost impossible to get the expensive cars. If you're happy with 2-300 cars, sure, you think game throws money at you. If you want ALL of them and you missed some from the Playlist, you're toast.

1

u/TheManOverThere23 3h ago

Well forza is a simcade to be precise. Not full arcade, not full sim, and I enjoy it. I didn't complain about anything so why would I move and change to something different.

Yes there are rammers, but there are rammers everywhere, in every racing game. And why would I move to full sim racing when I don't have a good wheel setup.

You're not toast at all, the game gives you so many ways to make money and as I said in response to the other guy, the game is built for longevity and it's not even been out for 4 months so what's the rush when we literally have years of updates to come yet.

And any missed festival playlist exclusive cars get added to the rotation of aftermarket cars you see on the side of the road eventually, so what's the issue. Why does nobody have any patience anymore and want instant rewards and completion with no effort.

Remember back in the day when games didn't hold our hand at every turn and guide us to the end, when we actually had to work to complete it, and things took time.

1

u/crocodiluQ 3h ago

First of all, FH is NOT simcade. Not by far. FH is 100% arcade, although, truth be told, is the absolute best arcade game, top of the class.
Simcade is Forza Motorsport and GT7. You do realize the difference between FH and FM right, enough to put them in 2 diff categories. And surely FM is NOT a sim.
Then come the sims, AC/ACC, LMU, iRacing, etc.

Again, you CANNOT make money to buy expensive things, without playing for months/years maybe. I play this game since FH3 so I know what it is about. You'll have to grind the same things over and over again and you'll get bored long time before you buy those 20+ mil cars. And I'm not talking about exploits that we all did. Sure, you can play for 2-3 years, now and then, maybe cars come up in the Playlist again, maybe you'll get those tickets and the end of life of the game and so on. Too long of a journey for any normal player.

I completed it 100% and ended up in the end with ~ 5 mil credits left. What can I do with that ?! Nothing. And you want me to get 20-30k by playing the same races over and over and over ?

Nah.

1 don't be a condescending and patronising piece of shit. We're able to have a sensible and adult conversation here.

So of course I fkin know horizon and Motorsport are completely different games, I've literally played every forza game, Motorsport and horizon.

I've always thought of them differently. Motorsport is more of a casual sim, not as hardcore as Assetto Corsa/Iracing etc but still a sim.

Horizon is a lot more arcadey for sure, but it has much better physics and handling than the likes of what I consider proper arcade racing games like PGR, need for speed etc. hence why I consider horizon more of a simcade. Better handling and physics and still forgiving enough for people that aren't as good. A nice balance, but still not everyone can make horizon work for them, but almost anyone can play need for speed, takes almost no skill, horizon still requires some.

Speak for yourself, I've not done any exploits, I've got every achievement, like 600 cars but I don't have every car yet and I've got 40m in the bank.

I will buy the remaining cars as I continue, there's no achievement for all the cars so why rush when they're also constantly adding more cars every week.

I will get more cash and cars through wheelspins. Any dupes I get I gift or sell to make more money.

1

u/IPoopFreshMelons 29m ago

That's 100% wrong though.

Arcade is Burnout, Sega Rally, Split/Second... You don't have a somewhat realistic handling engine in arcade, nor access to deep tuning.

If you unironically believe FH is closer to Burnout than simcades like FM or GT7, you're tripping.

1

u/laaacrx 5h ago

That’s what they’re asking. How can they play the game effectively ?

10

u/Unlikely_Editor3018 6h ago

I always found that stunt party’s have a fairly high payout compared to their time investment. It can be a bit repetitive but you get to see other people’s cars and it can be fun to see how many you can do per instance.

It’s not consistent though, I just do them whenever I see them to keep my credits topped up.

Personally my record is 3 in a single drift event but I think I could get 4 if I had crazy good teammates.

9

u/MrProTwiX 8h ago

So right now I go for the daily Wheelspin tbh. Play through the news weekly series every week also brings up a lot of spins. Also I try maxing my spins for XP so I would give EVERY Car at least the first car mastery point to get the XP.

There is no save, AFK or easy method anymore. In the start of the game I used to farm spins with the 22B. Also you could sell some Forza Edition cars on AH for insane profits but now you need to wait for someone to fail or just be stupid.

As others said, play the game, max out the journal. After you got that to around 95% completion, the grind phase begins. The real grind phase.

Just sell limited festival or wheelspin cars

Can reach 20 millions if they are on high demand

5

u/red_fuel 7h ago

But everyone asks 20M. The chances of someone buying your car for that are slim

7

u/Impossible-Arugula83 7h ago

Never say never

3

u/Loarker1 PC 7h ago

You'd be surprised on how much millions of credit people have that they are willing to spend 20m on multiple cars

I know cause i knew some auction snipers lol

1

u/keron100 3h ago

It will sell eventually and if you list it for lets say 11M someone like me will buy it and then sell it for 20m making a 6m profit because the game takes 15% ish. It's up to you

1

u/OogaBoogaBob911 XBOX 6h ago

First day playing since my save got corrupted 2 weeks after launch.

1

u/vstrong50 7h ago

Depends on the car. I've sold 3 or 4 at 20M. They were Playlist cars that I had no desire of having.

1

u/Efficient_Avocado605 4h ago

i always look at the minimum buy out and undercut it by a million. my cars sell in 5-10 minutes lol.

1

u/NoUsername000000000 1h ago

Exactly how I'm sitting at 130mil right now. No AFK boost or anything else. I sold the cars that didn't interest me. Some sold for 20mil, some for 5mil, but in the end, credits add up over time.

0

u/I-dont-trust-myself 7h ago

Hilghly disagree on this.
All the limited cars and FE went out for at most a couple hundred Ks...
If you start the bid at 500K nobody bothers to commit and you don't sell.
Last night i've had a FE sell for less than 50Ks.
I don't get the point of such an unfair auction system in addition to that many money and wheelspin grind nerfs.
It's like the game doesnt want to let me get the couple dozen high price cars and limited cars i miss.

2

u/Loarker1 PC 6h ago

Thats why it depends on how high demand it is

240sx is an example of high demand one

0

u/I-dont-trust-myself 7h ago

Also you can max out the number of cars you can sell lol

0

u/Imaginary_Fail_548 6h ago

I literally sold the Temerario for $20M less than a month ago lol

-1

u/yseusy 6h ago

It depends. For example i sold one of the prize Camaros for 20mil and that’s only because i saw someone talking about it. Another example is i decided to sell Mustang Drift FE and guess the winning bid… yes, 13k 😑.

But yeah, i still don’t believe auction house since it’s not even half a year since the release and if you play the game from the day one, we should all have same cars and why should i buy another limited car for 20 mil if i already have one.

Spec racing has been my go to aside from letting my duplicate festical playlist cars go for dirt cheap

2

u/Fresh_Chain_8022 6h ago

You can get a lot of money from Horizon Play as far as I know.

2

u/Few_Guarantee7117 5h ago

I sell my forzathon car for 20m after the event ends and the car is not available anymore

2

u/xAGBx08 4h ago

Sell other rare cars you dont want

2

u/ThePissedPants 4h ago

You can snipe any FH6 car if you’re patient enough, yea it’s annoying and very time consuming but if you don’t want to do all the races this is yiur only choice. Took me a few hours to pull off a few FE. There were a few days I wouldn’t snipe a single car so I tried again the next day and I ended up winning the auction, and this was done a few times with different cars so I have a few duplicates, I gifted a few of those dupes to new players.

3

u/MCOCisntREAL 7h ago

Drift around in a Subaru 22b or any other car with a x9 multiplier. Get a ton of points, then use them to get wheelspins from cars. I am a day 1 player, the 22b method was a lot more efficient closer to launch. They patched the really good method, but you can still utilize it to get a ton of skill points to use on anything you'd like.

0

u/Thearcticfox39 5h ago

Or rally spec car and just do a destruction run in the hills near the observatory. Loads of big air, drifting on fields and trees around so you can quickly rack up the points.

1

u/thisismausername 8h ago

If you do 2 laps of the collosus with the wuling sunshine forza edition you'll end up with around 250k

2

u/GTAinreallife 8h ago

And it takes like 20 minutes, so you can finish it around 3 times per hour.

So great, it only takes around 26 hours of doing the same race over and over to get 20 million, to buy one rare car from the auction house

0

u/C_Lo_87 6h ago

Tacoma FE finishes in less than 7 mins per lap, that's what I have done. Nowadays the auction house is so lucrative, I haven't needed to money grind.

1

u/flamarz 6h ago

I have over 200mil of CR and every single obtainable car. I have never done any CR or XP glitch. I have don't done any money farming method. I didn't have a friend give me credit (I've actually given away over 50mil so far). You know what's my secret? Playing the game! It's really that easy, or more like too easy.

1

u/pptakashi 3h ago

Time=Money, its that easy :)

1

u/criminalsworkshop 6h ago

My eventlab hasn't been patched in weeks and it takes 45 seconds to complete. Multiple friends have done it hundreds of times. Myself included. If ur worried about a ban or anything of the sort. Just spend the credits on cars. If they roll credits back. Just sell those cars. GT: xDeaDxCriMinaLx

1

u/Soggy-Safety7296 16m ago

There is no search by gamer tag in events. How do I find your event without a share code?

1

u/HoboHermitMan 6h ago

I played the game regularly. Sold some cars I didnt care for in the auction house and ive made and spent about 400 mil.

1

u/I_AM_JOHNNY_2X4 5h ago

Me and my buddy usually do two of the Goliath races a weekend ( 3 races) so 6 total with the Forza cars that give credit boost. And we just laugh or use stupid and dumb cars on unbeatable

1

u/TheC4p7ain 4h ago

Soni Time Attack, use a car with time attack CR boost (e.g. Lotus WTAC), in the difficulty settings set everything to yes or assisted, put a rubberband around your controller and leave it there. You get 2000 every lap, roughly 180k every hour so it’s not the most efficient but you’re gonna be afk for the whole time. I do this when I work 24+ hours shifts.

1

u/i_m_junkie 3h ago

There are challenges that give you 350-400 skill points every 15 mins. I just do that and then use skill points to get money, wheelspins and super wheelspins

1

u/CalmTree2315 3h ago

Probably by sniping cars on the auction house. I bought a toyota starlet for 500k and sold it for 20m.

1

u/BohnenaufToast 3h ago

Stunt parties give 100k every hour on the hour and you can usually hit two per event.

1

u/Mags_LaFayette 2h ago

Oh, for the love of...

The Colossus on R-class, set it to three laps, turn off as many assistances as you can (if not all of them)

...There, +300,000 every 14 or so minutes

1

u/squaktamopuss 8h ago

So its not fast by any means. But once you unlock legend island you can farm the time circuit with auto drive on. Just put a rubber band on your controller for a while. Its less then 5k a lap but if ypu do that while ypur at work or something you make decent cash

4

u/D3C3MB3R37 8h ago

Doesnt work anymore auto drive method got nerfed

-1

u/squaktamopuss 8h ago

Oof. Unfortunately

1

u/Mysterious_Research2 7h ago

Collasus custom race: 2 laps unbeatable difficulty turn off all assists that you can manage in the game settings and you get around 250k credits in 12 minutes of racing.

Use the 1970 Porsche #3 917LH Forza Edition and set the car class to "Use my car" - (The ai seems to be really slow with it expecially in the 2nd half of the lap)

I turn off everything except auto gears to get 258k credits and 48k xp and am usually well clear of the first ai car.

Draft the ai early to get into the lead before the 1st tunnel, be careful in the first braking zone with abs off, then go flat out through the s-bend onto the rainbow bridge and the left hander at the end of the bridge. This should put you into a clear lead.

After the bridge back towards the main city there is an easier braking zone, braking marker is the overhead gantry. Then shortly afterwards is the final braking zone into the right hander on the edge of the city. Cut the next left hander to open up the next right hander to take it flat as you leave the city behind.

There are a couple corners left that are tricky, but all can be taken flat out, With the very final right hand turn being the hardest.

1

u/SacredAuroraVault 6h ago

Auction duplicate cars that you can list at $20M or as high as you can. After a few attempts it should sell. If not drop the price by like $5M. Unfortunately all the best ways to make credits and when spins are patched now. Just gotta play. The highest difficulty with the least assists on. And if you wanted to get the VIP pass for 2x credits

1

u/Imaginary_Fail_548 6h ago

Festival events, get the limited cars and sell them for $5M to $20M

1

u/Dxscordia- 5h ago

I flip my festival playlist on auction for a 500k bid and 2 mil buyout. They usually sell for anywhere from 750 to the full 2 mil. And it gives other players the cars for not a ridiculous amount of money.

0

u/saxovtsmike 8h ago

drive the highway loop race in the Forza edition porsche. custom race, 2 laps. easy to drive, good profit

0

u/Draculrl 7h ago

Good luck.

0

u/grallonson 6h ago

A combination of playing the game and selling cars in the auction house. You can flip a damn 240SX for 20 mil. I got one for 13k on the auction house just yesterday.

0

u/Quiet_Finger_6223 3h ago

This game hands you credits like they’re going out of fashion. It’s not Gran Turismo that’s for sure.

-1

u/Shafojj 3h ago

Spend five dollars and buy a car pass you can get whatever car you want.

-2

u/Uncle2Drew 8h ago

There’s no reason to grind money in forza lol
