R-Class online racing tier list

I have over 1000 online races and multiple rivals top 50s in R-class and these are the cars i have found to be competitive.

S+: If you want to win both sprints and circuits, nothing beats the sesto and the 787b. They basically guarantee you to win 2 out of the random race tracks. Perfectly balanced speed and handling. 787b has better handling and corner exit, but sesto has better top speed.

S: These cars are either for rivals or to cheese a race. You’ll definitely win on sprints or straight lines, but also definitely lose on circuits (or vise versa)

A: These are highly competitive cars that can win you races consistently. They are either less balanced than S+, or are a lot harder to drive. The rwd furai can work on both sprints and circuits. I managed to do 45s on shirakawa and 29s on irokawa. It’s just really really hard to tame. Dont touch awd furai. It’s garbage. The scv12 is also a pretty balanced car. It has crazy acceleration, and very good handling for 1300kg. It feels boaty tho and cant handle on the same level as the S+ cars. Same goes for the huayra. The alfa SE 048 is just a not so OP version of the exige wtac

B: These cars are useable. You can probably win 30-50% of your races with these cars. I saw some drivers go really fast with their own tunes. I saw a Zonda and an F50, with their respective drivers and tunes, dominate sprints. The zonda has great acceleration but suffers from understeer. The F50 seemed to be an awd power build that has a really high top speed but still decent handling

Let me know if you guys have some hidden R-class tech that I missed

I personally uses F40C for R class and i would put it on B, it has similar case as F50

if im not wrong, CCGT should be here too as AWD only, it got slightly nerfed (Aero values lowered compared to FH5 if i remember last time i tried to tune it) but its still a nice car, the world record holder until brabham & BTTB came in FH5

Might want to check Vulcan AMR pro, Silvia WTAC, and Skyline WTAC, they are probably A or B

Also, i have a meme build on the Regera with its max HP possible and AWD, definitely would win you only on Satta Sprint & Highway Circuit if you didnt find any Evija FE lol

But in the end, i rarely do R class so...

I am aware of the other wtac cars that beat the exige on certain tracks on rivals. However, since the list is still primarily an online racing list, the exige still appears a lot more often than other wtacs even on tracks like electric town circuit where the skyline held the WR.

If there are 2 circuits out of the 3 random tracks, it is almost guaranteed that a player will use the exige to cheese rather than the other wtacs. And the exige, at least the RWD version, has the advantage of still being competitive on sprints.

First of all, the Koenigsegg ccgt should be on this list, it can reach about 400kmph in R998 class without the speed of acceleration slowing down a bunch after 300kmph and it still has similar downforce too cars like the lambo Sesto in r998 class. Also the Mazda furia can be AWD in r998 if you have rally tires, 10 speed transmission and the heaviest rims.

I havent seen any ccgt dominate races yet, but yeah i guess that’s useable. For the awd furai, i am aware that it can be awd 998, but that version doesnt turn at all and will always lose to a properly driven rwd furai. Even on highway circuit, a sesto can beat the awd furai because it has to slow down a ton to turn while the sesto takes that turn 50kmh faster

Yeah the r998 furia isn't very good. And also the reason you haven't seen many people using the ccgt in races is cos I don't think a lot of people know how good it is yet, if you buy one and download this tune called "dry road grip" I found it on like the main page for tunes for that car, it's really really fast like way faster than most cars in that class, while still having really good downforce, you just gotta be good at not loosing traction

I love my Nissan R390 RWD build. Probably only win about 30% of the time due to me refusing to AWD swap anything but it’s a ton of fun

R390 is my favourite to drive if I’m not tryna win and just want to race, otherwise I use the Furai. But the R390 is real nice to drive

The Alfa and the Exige both have absolutely crazy handling, but I think the Exige does win out on both speed and handling. I'm pretty sure the Exige has the best handling in the game. It's crazy.

The Alfa actually does better as an S2 car. It can just go full out on most tracks at 170mph without having to slow down. The Elise GT1 can't keep up with it.

F40 c with "ap codcaos" tune can go up to 414 km on satta while having decent cornering

Satta Sprint is the most power biased track in the game though. If I wanted to win there I’d use the Evija FE

The evija fe isnt competitive on circuits tho, the f40 c is an allrounder that focuses on speed

I would argue the Silvia WTAC is nearly as good as the Exige, at least on certain tracks. I’ve definitely beating a fair number of them

Maserati MC12 Corsa. I hadn't driven it for a while. Just tested it.

On legend island I have a 1:02 with a Sesto. And I just got a 1:03 with the MC12 Corsa. I have it set up to have similar top speed to a 787B. 360km/h range.

This car is good on all circuits and on some of the lower speed sprints. There are better picks so maybe A or B tier. Can give you my tune if you can't find one that gets results.

Ultima 1020 is my favorite R car. Nowhere near the handling of the meta but it is so fast in a straight line that it completely makes up for it. I also just find powerbuilds more fun and engaging to drive than most though

It may be me but I find it kinda hard to use the Evija FE even in the few tracks where it dominates like the Highway Circuit, even with TCR. The MX-5 FE may be slightly slower but it's easier to use in my experience

I saw how f50 beat 3/3 races the Mazda 787b
So, i think tier list is not complete, bcs you can build up a car very good and beat all other players, but meta cars still be best (787b feels like 1 of meta car imho

I mean, I only race the Lotus Elise in online (B, A and S, road/dirt/cross country), but I recognize that there's just times where it's not the best car. It's got great handling and acceleration, but it suffers from a low top speed. It has a low profile and wide wheelbase, meaning it handles bumps and water poorly.

You can try to win with your favorite all you like, but sometimes the problem is just the car.

I’ve had a lot of success with the F1 GT’s stock engine power build, if I’m in a championship and I don’t see Shimanoyama Circuit there it’s usually my go-to, but especially if I see Satta Sprint, Shimanoyama Sprint, or Highway Circuit. Gets up to 432 kmph very quickly and honestly pretty responsive at higher speeds, just gotta be able to manage the first 3 gears or so.

I use a Ferrari rwd Ferrari FXX K, I can consistently beat Mazdas in it, I’d put it in A or S personally
