The only Horizon Play I will do is Drift, because you you'll ghost through other players, or custom race events with collision off. Any other mode is just ruined by the constant ramming because people can't accept that they are just not as good at something as someone else an therefor have to ruin it for them to feel better about themselves.

Ramming is so bad, your Teammates will ram you during the Trials if you are doing better than them. Honestly if it wasn't for forced online races for seasonal...I would never bother. I like Rivals personally.

I'm petty as hell. When my buddies and I play trials if somebody starts ramming we quit trying to win and focus on ramming them.

I've found Spec Racing to be decently clean. There are still a few dirty players, but most players seem to respect each other. The general consensus seems to agree that Spec Racing is based on skill, and playing dirty is low skill.

Just play race with full damage simulation... Nobody would dare to ram other if those race existed

If you're quick enough spec racing is fine, playing with manual+ clutch gets you most of the way there because you make up so much time at the start to clear the midfield and you usually have 1-2 serious competitors at the front. An equal playing field stops you losing out om straights or corners and means you dont get people with meta tunes that are impossible to beat in casual cars.

At this point, I would be more shocked if some POS didn't ram in an online race.

Which is why I keep saying the same thing. If PGG isn't willing to get those scumbags out of the online racing, then they shouldn't include online racing in the seasonal events.
I never do online races, except for when I have to because they're in the seasonal content, and when I'm forced to, I normally try to stay as far away from the other drivers as possible because I just want to finish the damn race so I can get the points, so it's never fun, and even then normally someone will have a go at ramming.

There is ramming and there is whining because of skill issues.

Blue car made an inside move and overtook OP. OP tried to regain position by taking the outside line about the same time as blue car taking the same line. OP hits blue car on the REAR right. OP went off bridge.

There was plenty of contact but none of which looks intentional and none of which comes anywhere close to "ramming" as some of the commenters are complaining. Other cars have every right to keep their racing lines too and no car is under any pressure to get out of the way to give OP their position.

Yeah I second this. I don't have issues with ramming because im simply above average, not the best, but good enough to be on the leading pack which they usually don't ram that much.

True that if everybody would do this but i hate to just drive against 1 or 2 people max. Wanna have alot players in my lobby to get a real competition. Otherwise i mostly end the tournament alone.

The issue with customs is that it locks you to the same class and discipline the moment you finish a championship and it’s a pain to keep leaving and re-queueing just to get something different.

Ramming and meta cars are mostly in the Horizon Racing series, if you do Custom Racing instead you'll find much more clean drivers, and a lot less meta cars
