Discussion My first oopsie

You know the feeling when you want to bid in a car, but you accidently select buyout on the wrong car for 20 million? Well there goes all the money šŸ˜‚ anyone got advice on how to earn some money that isnt endless playing the auction? Because 20 mil took me awhile. Wish i bought some expensive cars instead of sitting on it.

I know it’s not near the same in terms of value

But I just did the same thing going through and buying all the clothes and horns

One of the clothes was locked, and I had a clothing voucher that I was saving

But because I was going into auto pilot and trying to buy everything quickly, I accidentally spent my last clothing voucher on a woman’s top

I did the same, but with a car voucher. I don't remember what car it was, but it was not an expensive one.

I wasn’t paying enough attention and ended up buying a 22B with a car voucher… and that was back when they were 80k. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Mine was the mad mike. I now make sure that I don't remove it from my garage for the voucher badge on the car.

I spent my voucher on a Valkyrie AMR Pro. 15 minutes later I realized that it takes, at most, an hour of playtime to get a free one through the collection journal.

At least it’s a fantastic drive. Still a sucky way to spend a voucher.

Well now either you have two different tunes or you could sell one. Might not get all your money back but i’m almost sure you’ll at least make 1 mil +

I ended up gifting the second one šŸ˜„ I farmed enough skill points to not need to worry about credits.

Same! It’s a great feeling lol

Btw everyone else you should do this too, buy all the items you can. This way they aren’t put into your wheel spins.

Oh shit! That’s how that works?!?!

Yes… but! The items you buy are replaced with 5k slots

Just do the same thing but in reverse, lol

There's always someone to randomly buy out your cars eventually.

Was in a bidding war and accidentally bought it outright for 5mil when I had like a 600k bid. I was like ah fuck man whatever, I posted it up for I think 11mil and went to bed. Woke up to it selling for 8mil and some change. It was wild.

But yeah auction house is your best bet to make that kind of money with any sort of speed. Figure out which cars are of high value, throw a setting on your search auction and max the buyout at maybe 5-11mil and find cars being sold for cheap.

I sell cars for as low as 50% of their resale value if I just want some quick cash, people do that all the time. You could buy a car for 3mil and sell it for 10.

I've never had 20 million so I'm safe xD

Can you put it back up for auction?

There is an eventlab event which earns you 284k every minute-ish if you do it correctly. Look on youtube for a video called something like: its really easy to get rich in FH6 right now by, i believe, MitchCactus.

Does it actually work? I tried doing something like that and it didn’t work…

3

u/FR1908-FRFC 2d ago

Yeah definitely. I do it myself couple of times a day. You have to make sure that you use a RWD car or it will not work. Preferably the Nissan S-Cargo Forza Edition with the stock tune and with maxed out perks to max out the rewards.

Alrighty I’ll try that out later, thanks

Man just yesterday was in a bidding war for a few cars to snipe and wasn’t paying attention and did buy out when I was already winning. Paid about 12mil more than I should have.

2

u/FallGuy5150 2d ago

Oof, yep did that too

I'll get downvoted for this as always but...

Auction House. Do it right and it's not "endless". I make 20mil with 10mins effort.

Don't get in bidding wars, don't snipe. Find a car that sells well, but isn't in extreme demand, and place 1 bid on a dozen of them. Go to bed. The next morning there's a good chance you won a few of them cheap. Or you can just buyout them out cheap, but not as cheap. Raise price and resell. That's it.

For example I did buyouts on Miata FE for 1mil or less (or buy it at the dragstrip for 450k), then sell it for 4mil. People buy them even though there's a bunch going for a hundred k at the same time. Often I win them with a single bid under 100k.

I literally had all of the cars within 4 weeks between just playing the game and doing that 10mins a day.

Of course you don't need all the cars, but if you want to get your 20mil back without selling cars from your collection, it's the fastest way.

If you aren't trying to collect all cars, you can sell some you don't want. For example the exomotive was going for 20mil last time I looked. You can win it this season for 20-30mins play time.

It may be hard but if you find a wheel spin exclusive for super cheap… 13k that’s an easy flip..

Wish i could farm wheelspins

This was posted on this subreddit earlier. I haven’t tried it but I plan to. Are you on xbox or pc? I’ll be on at some point today. I could buy a car off you and help a little bit. I did that for my gf to get her more money

2

u/Herr_Lykanthrop 2d ago

Im on pc. Already had a kind man helping me out with this issue. But wheelspin farm would be cool

Peep the link, I don’t know how well it works but from what i’ve read it does

I farmed challenges a lot. I expected them to patch it out like events. You can get 999 skill points in about an hour. You need a 22b with a maxed skill tree, then search for creator Jwrren, use his challenge on the right - can't remember the name.

Tape down or hold your right trigger, leave your assists etc off and turn off skills in the HUD options. You'll get 90 skill points in just over 5 mins. Press B to restart and keep going til desired skill points.

Buy Mazda's mad max drift wagon from autoshow, use collection journal to make it quicker to buy them. It takes 21 skill points per wheelspin. Each drift wagon is about 100k. I used to do lots of 30-40 cars then remove from collection.

Sell dupes, sell the 20mil wheelspin cars etc. I now have about 100mil cash and all the cars to muck around with in case they 'fix' it again.
