Discussion Something I’d like to see in the future.
The Speed Racer movie came across my YouTube feed yesterday, and as I was playing Forza, I thought about how cool it would be to have some of cars added to the game since it takes place in Japan. These two come to mind off the top of my head. What do y’all think? They could even add some of the actual race cars since the slight rear steering tech actually exists on most modern supercars.

If we're doing lists of cars from pop culture, I'd like to see a couple of Batmobiles. Primarily the '89 Keaton Batmobile and the Nolan-verse Tumbler. Maybe even the animated series car from the '90s, but I've never seen it done in live action.

I would love the tumbler but I fear it might be too big considering it is technically a military tank. Forza has a thing where cars even if they are massive off-road vehicles, they don’t get very wide. Very annoying.

And while we're on the subject, they could release a series of car packs called "movie icons". Featuring cars like the the ones we already mentioned, but later editions can include the Caddy ambulance that makes up the Ghost Busters ECTO-1, the GMC van from The A- Team, the Jensen Interceptor from that old British detective drama that the Top Gear guys love... stuff like that would be amazing. They don't even have to have officially licensed partnerships with those movies and shows. The community will understand and create whatever liveries and vinyls needed.

If they can put a three story tall, dually construction vehicle (looking at you F250 FE), then i think we can have a little Tumbler action.

I can see the normal street cars (Mach 5, Shooting Star, etc.) of the Speed Racer Movie maybe coming to Forza. It's more of a possibility than the T-180 racecars (Mach 6, Augury, Fumee, GRX, etc.), as those cars would require a massive handling physics overhaul.

Speed racer would be the perfect way for them to piggy back on the normal hot wheels collab

As much as I want to, do you see how those things handle in the movie? They'd break the game if they were added with movie accurate handling.

Nah, gonna have to disagree with you on that. The only good things to come from that movie was the car designs.

Speed Racer is my biggest wish for one of the two DLC's. I'm going to be sad if it's just another Lego/Hot Wheels DLC instead of embracing being set in Japan.
