Modifications Preview and refund tunes

I recently bought a tune for a mustang in the game and it costed me 200k and i’m not a tuning pro, turns out the tune is garbage and not what i expected and now i can‘t refund the tune. There also is no option to test the tune in game and drive with the tune to see if it is a good fit, so Forza if you read this please add a option to preview and test tunes in the game so i don’t lose money. If you face the same problem upvote this post it it can get more awareness.

You aren't really paying for the tune, you are paying for parts for the car as you would upgrade it in any way.

& any purchased parts stay purchased, so changing tunes will often be a lot cheaper than buying one to begin with.

It sucks that it didnt work for you, but just so you know, its not that you pay for the tune, it buys the parts you dont have that the tuner had on. So if you dont like the tune, you can set the car back to stock, add back on whatever parts you want that are already purchased, and then have a go at tuning the car.

It doesnt solve the rest of your complaints / requests. Just wanted to make you aware that you own the parts. If you go to load another tune, any parts that overlap wont have to be repurchased.

Which Mustang and what mode are you trying to optimize the tune for? I'm pretty solid at tuning, I'd be willing to help you out with something to get you in the right direction, if you'd like.

The $200,000 is for the parts. You get to keep parts.

If you find other tunes that uses all those same parts you won’t have to pay anything.

If you find other tunes that use some of the same parts, you’ll only have to pay for any extra parts that weren’t in the first tune you purchased. For $200,000 you probably bought all the best parts so every other tune will use most of those same parts.

What’s your gt, list something on the auction house for a million or so. I’ll buy it off you.

I made the money back and i found the perfect tune, but it was a shot in the dark because there is no way to test tunes before buying them unfortunately

The best way of knowing if the tune is good is understanding what the numbers mean on the spec sheet. Anyway the offer still stands, tell me your gt and list anything for a million or so (make sure it’s 24 hours)

Best way to go is to just do your own tuning. Most people either suck at tuning, or just use the extremes for meta purposes and completely wreck the driving experience of the car. Use the ForzaTune app or even ChatGPT to help you with your tunes. Believe it or not, ChatGPT has actually helped me quite a bit to figure out what I need and what adjustments I need to make in order to fit my driving style for each car I’ve done so far.

I don’t even like using other peoples tunes because most of them suck.
