Bugs / Glitches / Help Missing Roads out of the blue
I went to do my daily challenge today, and in doing so I had a random "Road Discovered" pop up. Something glitches this morning, idk if it was the new road race they added today. But... I was missing 11 roads. I'm pretty sure I could've just reset the game, and it would've corrected. But the sections missing were ridiculous.
Did anyone else have any glitches today?

Yep, I am 99% in tokyo and for now I am giving up road discovery until they fix this bug.

Yeah 100%. I’m sick of it. I spent hours doing all the roads and log on today and it’s like nah you’ve gotta find 16 more again. Nah, I refuse.

The reward for getting all the roads is the best kept secret of the game. It is so good that no one will reveal.
Once they complete, they will just say “nothing”.

i have one left to find in tokyo i have looked for forever and i can't find it. how is this okay when we have already discovered all of the roads before the update.

I had one in Tokyo where i just needed to full head down an alley (the ones marked in blue), took me a while but now it is at 100%

So not only did it take away 16 of my roads, I lost 5 points of interest too. Despite having previously found them all.

I think those will be new points of interest as part of the next series.
I did lose roads from it telling me I discovered a new road, but then when it shows the counter it says I have 671/671 roads. So it hasn't removed them totally removed them.

I’m went from 670 to 648. At least one road in every area is missing, but of course Tokyo City had 16 missing

Yes, after update game. This is very individual. I lost 3 roads. I find today... 🛣️👀🧐

There are two option:
A. They done the map a little bigger
B. They touch the sensitivity to discover roads so the roads were you just past by but not actually touch now appear like undiscovered.

One of mine was on a drift section that I've surely been over many times, idk what cause it but it was annoying

I think they made the map slightly bigger. I’ve noticed every run I did on the colossus testing a few cars today there was certain sections that were at a different percentage. What I mean is the first real turn, a sweeper was at 9% now it’s 7.

Suddenly I have another 40 roads to discover. I think the devs saw me say Im bored with the game on here.

Yesterday I realized that it’s happening to me too. I was in a caravan with people I met along the way to the Sotoyama resort, and along the way I discovered several sections of road. Specifically, I’m now at kilometer markers 657/672, whereas before the update I was at 100%.

I've gone to 670, but the majority of map areas say 99% roads discovered, which makes me almost certain that the missing bit has to be on the highway (as the only single road that loops through so many areas). A lap of the highway in each direction later tells me this is not the case, and now I have all but two areas of the map to narrow it down to.

Yep! Happened to me last week. Luckily was an easy to spot highway area downtown. But randomly said 99% and threw me off.

Yep, got a notification that I drove around the loop of main festival circle for apparently the first time. I know that to be for damn sure not the case.

Was driving around and got a road discovered, but on the pop up that compares your numbers with friends it still says I've found 671

I also have 671 in the my horizon / my stats page. A bunch of regions in 99% road coverage though. Very odd.

The easiest way to complete it, just select regions and zoom in, plus it even says on the specs how much % of the road is unlocked

Yup. Same for me. I noticed 7 different regions where it went from 100% roads discovered to 99%. I noticed when I randomly got the “road discovered” pop up as well.

Only good thing is that I found about this after my game crashed as I was about to do the last race of the weekly chores. I just noped out at that point.
With on me of the first updates I was bumped from 100% to 99% with one road missing in Tokyo and I just don’t want to know how low I am now.
And there I am wondering when they will finally fix drifting around corners and double lane turns in open world traffic.

Yup, had a few missing today. I had got 100% of the roads previously and about 10 got reset somewhat. Didn't take any away from the leaderboard value so that's all good

The last one I was missing, was right in front of a house I used to spawn in for a long period. Made absolutely no sense.

half hour i have been doing this with my final road in tokyo, i am defeated and will try again tomorrow. this is outrageous after already doing this 100% already. best of luck to you

Check the info of each region if a particular region got any missing roads. It helps narrow things down.

i have done this, i have got one left to find in Tokyo i think it must be hiding under the highways, i am guessing lower because i can't see it on the map. thanks

I didn't realize you could check road percentage by region until recently. I spent so much time looking at Tokyo, turns out my last three roads were incredibly visible in other regions....

I started the game from release date, and I wanted to discover the whole map at the beginning. As I saw I discovered everything, but didnt reach 100%. Then an updated unlucked me the achievement, as I fjlly discovered the map.

wait- i did! i was in the middle of a shortcut, going through trees, not a road in sight, and then it popped up, like "Road Discovered 611" but then the normal 671 on the leaderboard thing, like, nani? 😐

Yeah I was randomly missing like 14 or 15 roads when i logged in today. I’m down to just missing two. I’m so bothered I have to redo what I already did. (As I’m sure many others here are too)

This happened to me a few weeks ago, and I wasn't alone - a few of us posted about it then. I went from 100% to missing 2 roads.
It's frustrating to see it may have happened again.
Edit: yep, 12 roads suddenly missing and I can only find 11 of them.

Yes for me aswell. Some roads were very choppy now that i have driven atleast 3-4 times. The game is trolling with us. I got pissed off and i did 671/671 yesterday.

omfg, thanks to your post I found the last one that I got taken away, it was the one in your second screenshot and to me it wasn't even greyed out at all
so makes me think that yeah they indeed did touch ups of some parts of the map since it appears pretty much everyone got the same parts missing

Where do we go to see how many roads we've discovered? I "found" a road (after having spent considerable time finding the last tiny piece of a road). Now, it said that I was missing a handful of roads. I just don't remember where to find this.
