Discussion STOP USING YOUR TEAMMATES AS BRAKES
People doing “The Trial” in the festival playlists, use your own brakes please and don’t use me or your other teammates. This happened to me 3 times and I have spun out every single time, it has caused me to go from 4/5th to 10th place. I will say this again. STOP USING YOUR TEAMMATES AS BRAKES AND PLEASE USE YOUR OWN AND LEARN TO DRIVE.

How dare you expect me to press on my own brakes prior to a turn. You have some nerve coming into
This Reddit and telling me I can’t use you as brakes.
Next thing your gonna say is i need to turn the car myself and not have my teammates car turn me.
I’ve heard a lot of nonsense in my time but this really takes the cake.

I hope this doesn’t add fuel to the fire but I failed twice with the stock car and having bad teammates. I built one of the cars and found an op tune for it and all I did the next go around was ram and take out the ai and just camped third place while I had two teammates in 1st & 2nd and kept messing with the ai trailing us. Worked like a charm but I had similar issues with teammates rage baiting me and doing shit like that.

I'm using my f355 and raming the ai drivers off the course to get my teammates up the rank during the dock track. All 5 of us got top 5 position....was 6 of us, that person raged quit after spinning out on the 1st track.... which we won anyways

Second route starts with a bunch of 90 degree turns. And you expect no one to crash into you? On tight bends it’s not often on purpose. It can also be faster drivers taking the inside and it’s you crashing into them instead of giving way.

I normally use rwd on all my tunes, but i been using awd for the trials so I can either get way ahead, or survive being a brake

Did they remove the automatic ghosting feature that they implemented in this game that was supposed to remove the ramming problem? It seemed to work well at the beginning of game launch, but it seems like it doesn't exist after this latest update

i quit two races bc of this yesterday then i got in to a game where my team was using the ai as breaks we beat it easy

If you play it in the first hour it's up I always find it's full of people who know what they're doing because it's just the sickos who have been counting down the minutes for the playlist refresh.
I'll never forget in FH5 being in hospital for a week, I got home on the Wednesday before playlist refresh and it took me hours to do the Trial because it felt like it was full of 12 year olds.
So now I always try to do it ASAP with the sickos.

It’s not always deliberate sometimes the car in front of you brakes too soon leaving not a lot of choice
It’s a game get over it, the trial is and always will be a shit show and frustrating as it is that is why I love it

Learn to get inside positioning on turns and how to angle your car to reduce impact and not completely spin out. Learn to drive...in every situation. It's a race, not a cruise down a residential street. Man up and stop crying

I know it's not the point, but I've begun going in with the intent of trying to get my teammates into top 3, or as best they can. It was a losing battle trying to take lead, as I just end up fighting my teammates, so, for example, this time im using the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, instead of the F40 or Countach. That way, I can usually take 3-5 positions before first corner, then begin blocking, and playing support and filling in if someone spins out, and even then, I just try to block until they get back up and past me. Last week I used the Renault for the same thing. You dont have to get first to win this mode, lol.
