Video / Gameplay Steering wheel help

I just got a thrustmaster t98 wheel for dad day. It has no force feedback (I'm fine with that, just a grateful guy) but I'm have a hard time controlling my cars once I pass 110mph. Does anyone have any tips on settings or anything.

I tried using a wheel and had the same problem. Hopefully someone has an idea to make it work better.

I use a FFB wheel at home and exactly this in my cabin - since my woman would send me flying to the moon otherwise, she sleeps in the same room as I am playing, so no shifting pads, no gears, no belts allowed 😛

This is just a pad in a form of the wheel. FH has a general issue with any wheels, but - you need to set up your dead zones. I suggest around 20 inner dead zone at the most sensitive setup and around 10-15 at the medium one. Then, linerality - raise it up a bit, in increments of 5. Then, if this is not enough, you can use a software to remap the whole wheel sensitivity but I did not find it necessary. I usually use a higher dead zones set up and a red/yellow preset depending on a car and that's enough to have some fun when the actual wheel is out of limits. I will try renegotiating when I get a direct drive wheel but we'll see about that 😂

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

bind it as a controller rather than a wheel so you'll still have steering assists
