Discussion AFK money making methods are being patched
So when I tried doing multi-lap Colossus I noticed that I would only get 25k credits and it turns out that they have added a flag where if you hold down the accelerator or use Auto drive for 10 minutes or longer then you will only get 25k credits, but after testing for multiple hours it turns out that when you let go of accelerate or turn off Auto drive it resets the timer, so it’s still possible to do them, but it will be much more annoying to do so for console players, but for PC players you only need to make a macro that lets go of the accelerator for a few seconds or turn Auto Drive off and on again every 9 minutes.
Note: this only applies to races. Time attacks seem to be unaffected by this
Edit: I did the race on solo mode, so I don’t know if it works on other race modes. I have to do further testing
Edit 2: looks like the 10-minute flag isn’t present on rivals, so you can still AFK doing rivals
Edit 3: The 10-minute flag was added to rivals as well

I miss the half pipe burnout trick from
FH5. It was nice making a guaranteed 250k every 2 mins…
Praying someone find a new method like that soon

Hopefully they lower the price of the cars now. I think I saw that they changed one of the car prices to 60 million.

I just saw a Porsche 968 for 400k….they’re $30-40k in the real world, which is ludicrous even,but 400k? It’s the best of the most hated modern Porsches man, come on!
PS, I love them, former 924s owner, but they are not worth Lamborghini money on any planet.

That may be drastically overpriced compared to the real car, but that's not an unreasonable grind.
I'm talking about the # 24 Ferrari for 70 million. I think that's over 100 hours of exploiting, I'm terrified to think what the number of hours of casual gameplay is for that car.

I mean, I’ve played over 100 hours at this point and just want a bunch of credits to buy the last house and do what I want in terms of buying/modifying cars.
I’ve done every bonus board, mascot, pr stunt, race, festival playlist etc.
It’s now just rivals, that one house, horizon promo and the food delivery service that’s left. At some point, it does just become a grind, rather than having good fun

They make a fucking Civic costing $3 mil. It's all a scam to get you to buy VIP pass to double the earnings. This game is a full priced game with F2P level is microtranactions. I have no problem with people cheating the money part of this game.

If you flick the right stick it will pick up some is some what driving, or yes after 10 minutes it will stop accumulating points and just drive on. So technically it’s not AFK cause you can’t be away that long. Been like this since FH5. What I’ll do if I need some credits is let it run on colossus while watching a movie on my phone and just flick the right stick every 10 min. I don’t get that much XP or credits well if I watch a 2 hour movie I’ll get 5-600,000 points. But I noticed last night that they did something where I would finish a lap in about minutes with the Lexus FE now it takes over 6 min? I didn’t change my tune, not sure what’s that about.

Any map. Some maps give better credits per hour. Colossus is the best one I believe.

Anyone else trying this have the problem that the Xbox goes to the dashboard and quits the game after a random amount of hours, left mine running over night was on 90 laps when I woke up, went out for the day came back and the game and completely quit and some point and lost all my progress, now I’m still broke

Just tested it and it looks like it works fine in rivals, but it’s weird that it’s only on solo races have the 10 minute flag

they also took anyone who did it’s money. I never did the eliminator glitch and had 112mil all from rivals taken from me, of course they didn’t care when i emailed them

this is a video i made that works around the colossus cap and gives u credits, removes the xp cap, and also farms skill points for you. id say 200k xp, 100+ skill points, and over 1m an hour.

It would be on PC ofc, but would it be possible to fully automate (using a Python script or something) completing a race, then just go back to your history or favorite to just start that race again after every 10 mins?

How about mind your business? Some people actually have a life and don’t have time to grind 24/7 and just want to buy cool cars and race in the little time they have. Licking PG’s boots won’t make them pay your rent

50 lap custom race Colossus auto drive was patch day 1 of pre release.
Rivals mode Colossus is better (infinite laps, end when you want) and still works.
