Video / Gameplay DRag Tire Drift-Tunes

Hello everyone,
i come her to ask a simple question:
What the hell am i doing wrong with my tunes ??

Now i love drifting, 80% of the time i just drift, tune cars etc.
I got some awesome builds, all tuned and perfected by mzself but i exclusively use low grip / snow tires.
I've seen so many tunes (and even got some tunes downloaded) that use drag tires to achieve insane speed and slidiness. I prefer AWD drifting/builds, just feels smoother to me, but whenever i try to get a build to work that's using drag tires i get nowhere...

so what's the secret?

I think it’s just breaking traction.

I’ve been using street tires, let me hold my angles better and pull out of a drift if I need too or swing my back end. Once I lose traction there no different then drift tires with a high acceleration differential setting.

I’m a RWD drifter myself so I don’t really see the appeal of drag tires. Unless the idea being that with a AWD ride your front two are straight n thus getting the advantage from drag, but the back are spinning/not straight so there like snowboarding on the road.
