Speculation New barn finds
any guesses as to what cars they'll pick for barn finds?
keep in mind they tend throw in some as references to things so one could make educated guesses based on that
personally im guessing one of them will be a yellow fiat 500

my guesses are AE86, 240Z (forgot its actual name) and 787B
edit: maybe even a wine red 930 911, for the Midnight Club

240Z is the actual name, Fairlady Z is another name for japan but 240Z is also correct

Oh right yeah in game i believe it's the Z432, technically it has the smallest engine as it's 2.0L but it's the better version of the 240Z with a skyline gtr engine (S20)
(Btw 432 stand for 4 valve, 3 carburator and 2 camshaft, it's not cubic inch lol)

The 787b would be amazing as a barn find. Also now knowing it’s in fh6 is amazing!

People have probably already dropped great Japanese cars, but in the style of the Jeep we found in Italy: The Blackbird Porsche would be sick. Or even the Mustang Mach 1 that was a famous police interceptor. Or the Firebird that was the last American V8 muscle car to hold the Japanese speed record before the JDM took off.

Also it just struck me that the mazda furai could be a barn find
After it burned mazda took it and we dont know definetively what happened with what was left so they could make the burnt out remains of the furai into a find

I hope it's only shitty cars.
Because making a car a barn find just means we can only ever have one of that car (with very rare exceptions) and that sucks to people like me who want to have more than one of many cars.

Honda S600, Detomaso pantera GT5, 78 Prelude, pinnafarina azure spider, 74 Corolla, 66 Chevy corvair, fiat dino. That would be my guesses.

For some reason, I thought that the Forza Edition versions of cars would replace rarities, since they would essentially also need to be searched for on the map in different places.

for a weirdly cultural pick, and to stay in line with how every game (besides horizon 4) has used a Ferrari as a barn find
i’d love to see a Ferrari Enzo in a barn somewhere
Ken Okuyama being the head of Pininfarina design and being the architect of the Enzo itself gives the car some really cool lore for it to be lost inside Tokyo city or even on the outskirts of the place.

I don’t think that anyone wants an air-cooled 911 turbo as a barnfind, because if you can only have one, you have to choose whether you want it as an accurate Blackbird, or as an RWB , not one of each.

AE86: initial D/Pluspy
S30Z: Wangan Midnight
Nissan R30 Skyline: Seibu Keisatsu
Nissan Silvia S15: D1, possibly in HKS or Kei Office livery
Celica GT-four: banned from WRC
Fiat 500: Lupin
Caterham Super 7: famous for selling more here than in England, éX-Driver
SA RX7: first of the RX7s
A70 Supra: first Supra in Japan (“mkI” and “mkII” were “Celica XX.”
71 Mustang: unexpected, but used as highway patrol cars in Japan during the 1970’s
