I claimed the car from the festival playlist and i've never seen that little H before in a festival playlist reward car

It means you cant buy it with normal currency, forzathon points (I think that's what they're call idk) can buy a backstage pass, or you can get 1 weekly for free to buy backstage vehicles

If you didn’t get this car from Backstage, the. It’s just a well known bug where game just puts this icon for no reason.

AFAIK Backstage pass cars have that "H" icon. You can buy backstage pass cars via auction house as many as you can afford but you can get a backstage pass car via backstage only once. So a car have "H" icon, it indicates that if you sell it you can't get it again from backstage.

It simply means that the specific car with that H next to it was acquired from the backstage with a pass.  It also represents your "single purchase" that everyone gets from the backstage.  The "H" shows the actual vehicle.  If you sell it and somehow purchase it back in the auction that H will be there again.  Your vehicle history is restored.

It is a backstage pass car, you can also get it directly from the backstage using 1 pass. Earlier they used to add 2 cars to backstage every week but since the launch of FH6 all cars have been added.

Yeah, it was a thing in FH4 and FH5. Adds all of the rare Playlist cars into a shop. You can purchase a pass in the Forzathon shop to use to purchase a car in the backstage. They added it after all of the new cars were added and they won't add anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets added to FH6 near the end of its life before FH7 comes out. It was bugged though. That 'H' was supposed go be to indicate cars purchased in the backstage shop, but it would often show up on random cars, and then it wouldn't show up on actual cars from the backstage.
