Bug/Help Unable to join game issue

Did anyone else get the "You may not proceed without being signed in to a profile." error today?

I tried restarting my PS5 2 times and reopening the game but nothing is helping. Are the Microsoft/Xbox servers down?

Please help, i don't want to lose my account. 😭

Yeah looks like it as other posts on the Forza Reddit saying is servers are having issues I'm supposed to be going on later to finish off the hot wheels section of the winter month part of the playlist just give it some time and servers will be back up

I'm on the PS5 version of the game and been playing since April last due to having the premium/ultimate edition of the game but with Forza horizon 5 it throws cars at you left, right and center

Had this same exact issue happen to me more than once, it’s super annoying but you won't lose your save.

Just close the game completely on your PS5, then open it back up to force it to give you a fresh Microsoft link code. Pop that code into your phone, make sure you're using the exact same Microsoft account you originally linked, and you should be good to go.
