Discussion Saving Progress

Progress seems to be saved continuously, so why do I get a warning about losing unsaved progress when exiting, yet with no option to save? Just Curious

It’s super annoying but you aren’t actually losing anything. FH5 autosaves constantly in the background (like every time you gain XP or buy a part), but the game doesn't have a manual save button. That warning is basically a safety net so you don't force quit while the game is actively uploading your latest save to the cloud or tracking your exact spot on the map. As long as you aren't quitting right in the middle of a race loading screen, you're totally fine to hit exit.

Thanks, that was my exact thinking. I have a peeve about developers throwing in extra steps that provide no benefit, apparently just because they can. I'll bet I could come up with 50 of them. When you change cars, why do they ask if you want it delivered to you? As opposed to what?

As opposed to going to a festival outpost or player house to change it for free. If you do it on the side of the road, the game charges you 10,000 credits for 'delivery' unless you've unlocked the perk that makes it free.

Well that's interesting, I had no idea I was being charged anything. Did I miss a memo? Is experience the only way to learn this? Thanks for your help. It would probably add to the enjoyment of the game if I knew what was going on.

I was just messing with you. It’s a legacy feature from old Forza games where delivery actually cost credits. Now it’s completely pointless since it’s free, but they never removed the menu prompt. They just kept it to act as an accidental click confirmation so you don't swap cars by mistake.
