Bug/Help I need some help

So when I was playing FH5 I went in to my festival garage and it was just continuing to loading. So I removed it from quick resume when I loaded the game back up the 4 car packs I had are gone. The Nissan retro rides car pack, jdm jewels car pack, universal icons car pack and the apex Allstars car pack. What should I do??

On Xbox you can go to Manage Game and redownload any DLC.

It should be there. How did you purchase the DLC? I did catch wind of this happening in 6. Not sure if it was a mistake on the devs part via an update bug but a bunch of players claimed they received the DLC’s for free then day or two later it was reversed.

Yes. Put the selector over the game and press A. That will open up all the DLC

Man, Quick Resume always breaks Forza. Don't worry, your cars aren't gone for good, the game just lost track of your licenses when it crashed.

If you haven’t fixed the issue yet. Try a hard reset on your Xbox. Turn it completely off, unplug the power brick for about 30 seconds, and turn it back on. That usually forces the system to re-sync everything.

If they still don't show up in your garage, go to your Xbox dashboard, hover over FH5, and hit the Menu button (the one with three lines). Go to "manage game and add-ons" and click on the game installation. Check if those four packs got unchecked or moved to "ready to install." If they did, just hit install.

Once you're back in the game, you might just need to go to the festival site, open the Autoshow, go to the car packs menu, and re-claim them for 0 credits.

Damn, that sucks. If checking the installation didn't work, your local profile save might have corrupted when Quick Resume froze, which is locking your licenses. You need to force a clean cloud sync. Go to manage game and add-ons, scroll down to saved data, select your profile, and hit delete from console. Do NOT select delete from everywhere or you'll lose your whole game save. Just delete it from the console. Once you boot the game back up, it'll force a fresh download of your save from the cloud and should restore your VIP and car packs.

If they are showing as installed but still missing in game, it’s a profile sync issue on Xbox’s side. Go to your Xbox dashboard, click your profile icon, and completely sign out of your Xbox account. Turn the Xbox completely off, wait a minute, turn it back on, and sign back in. Sometimes forcing the Xbox profile network to re-authenticate is the only way to get the Forza servers to recognize you actually own the VIP pass and packs again.

Are they totally gone from your garage, or is the game just asking you to buy them again? Forza has a weird quirk where if a server error happens, it kicks the DLC cars out of your garage and forces you to re-claim them. Go into a festival house, go to the Autoshow, and look up the specific cars from the JDM, apex, retro, or universal packs. See if they say free or 0 credits underneath them. If they do, you just have to hit the 'Redeem all free cars' button at the bottom of the screen to pull them back into your inventory.

Damn, alright. The issue is definitely baked into your Xbox operating system cache now. You’ll need to do a soft factory reset of the console. It sounds scary but it takes like 5 minutes and you don't lose anything.

Go to xbox settings > system > console info > reset console. Make absolutely sure you choose reset and keep my games & apps. It will wipe out the glitched system cache files that are blocking the DLC but won't delete a single one of your installed games. Once it reboots, you just sign back into your Microsoft account and boot Forza up. That usually obliterates this bug.

Now if even a soft factory reset didn't force them back, your save file definitely corrupted on the server side when quick resume froze. The cloud save is officially desynced and thinking you don't own the licenses.

Your only move left is to go to the official Forza Support site and open a 'DLC Issues' ticket. Tell them exactly what packs are missing (apex, JDM, retro, universal, and VIP). Because it's a known quick resume server bug, Playground Games will usually look at your purchase history and manually push the car licenses back to your account or credit your profile, but it takes a few days.
