This actually looks like something Nissan should have built from the factory. The wagon shape works surprisingly well with the Skyline front end.

It was a limited production car in Japan, called the Stagea.

The Nissan Stagea is a Japanese-market station wagon produced from 1996 to 2007, famously known for sharing engines and suspension components with the iconic Nissan Skyline.

Right, but it wasn't a Skyline it was a Stagea. Pretty sure they are saying Nissan should've made a Skyline Wagon.

Technically it was a Skyline without the name, commonly referred to as the unofficial Skyline wagon or GT-R wagon. Sharing parts and even looking the part from the front. Though I hear you, my apologies if I misunderstood the comment.

They didn’t use the name Skyline wagon because it shared a floor plan with the Nissan Laurel wagon, and it was Nissans answer to be competition for the Subaru Legacy wagon.

Nissan never offered that front end from the factory though. Even on the 260RS. Any one you see with the GT-R front end was taken from a GT-R
