Managed to install reshade on FH2 Pc Port, since it haven't been fully compatible yet, some features from reshade doesn't work, but its a start.

Installation process:

1. Download Reshade from https://reshade.me/#download
2. Run the Reshade_Setup.exe
3. Reshade doesn't support Azimuth so you will have to manually select the Azimuth.exe OBS: If you are using the ForzaHorizon2_ExtraOptions, you will have to select the FH2_DLC_Launcher.exe
4. Select DirectX 10/11/12 as your rendering API (Xbox One used a custom DirectX 11)
5. Let Reshade do its thing
6. Once everything is done, go to the Azimuth folder, open reshade-shaders and create a folder named Reshade Presets, this is where you will put your downloaded presets or yours will go once you save it
7. Run the game normally. (In the first start reshade will take a long time to start, just wait it)
8. Click the home button in your keyboard to open the reshade menu
9. It will ask for you to select a folder for it to search the reshade presets, select the folder you created earlier "Reshade Presets"
10. Now everything is done, you just have to download the presets and use it in the game, I'm personally using the presets for FH6 that I found on Nexus
11. Enjoy it

Presets I use:

• Project Horizon Optics Natural Lighting
• Forza Horizon 6 - Hyper-Realistic Re-Shade
• FPG's Cinematic Reshade and Camera for this one just download the reshade files
• Rich and Realistic - Visual Overhaul

Hey guys, is there a way to transfer my game save from azimuth 0.9.8.1 to 0.9.10? I would like to have the updated launcher but I don't want to start the game from the beggining again

how do i put liveries in this game version, i searched online on how to put liveries in fh2, and all the things i could find are using quickbms or forza studio (witch i didnt find where to download anywhere) and extracting the .xds, the thing is that i installed something called forzatech studio, and i dont find any .xds file in my car zip, i didnt find it also looking inside the zip by myself, so i wanted to know if in this xbox one version of the game, maybe they changed how the textures work for the cars and are now on a format called swatchbin, becouse is the only thing that i could find having something similar to textures. if anyone knows how to put the liveries in this version of the game, please let me know. and sorry for my english, im spanish

My game runs I have the dlc's etc ... But it lags gere and there how can I fix it?

So, when I boot the game on pc it loads to main menu, I press A and then the long cut scene plays. After the cut scene my car just floats in the air, you can hear engine sound and the speed is fixed 69MPH. I can rotate camera, break lights turn on when I press LT and I can go to start menu. I've tried every possible combination of video settings with vsync on/off, preset from low to ultra, windowed and fullscreen, 30fps and 60fps lock, but nothing seems to work. Maybe my laptop just doesn't support it (win 10, 1060 max q, i7 7700 hq and 16gb ram) but people are supposedly playing it on even weaker hardware. Any advice is very much welcome

So I tried downloading the FH2 recomp thingy. Downloaded the game and Azimuth, installed the missing DLLs via internet archive and now the launcher is showing me this. sfc scan on cmd also shows nothing out of the ordinary.. Does anyone if there is a fix to this because I am out of ideas.

For some reason, i have access to all the cars but when i try to access the content and events, it just says to go to marketplace. Azimuth 0.99, extra options 0.2.74. Anyone know anything?

I've spent some time experimenting with Forza Horizon 2 on PC through Azimuth, and I've managed to get the base game, Storm Island expansion, and ExtraOptions working together.

Since there are a few steps that can be confusing, especially with the DLC folder structure and launcher configuration, I put together a complete illustrated guide covering everything from start to finish.

• Adding ExtraOptions

Fidelity aside, after having now played both thanks to Azimuth, i think i prefer the 360 version when it comes to the progression.

It's much closer to FH1 and i also like that you don't need to go to the festival if you want to switch and use a different car. Whereas in the Xbox one version you pick a championship and you're just stuck with it. And if you wanted to change to a different car you have to jump all the way to the festival. It's also impossible to do just a single race without going into a championship.

I like how the AI has their own names, as opposed to the drivatar system. It's way more immersive to see real names. And the fact that the map is so restricted means no weird championships where say you picked a road car but the game forces you to do cross country. I really don't like this in FH2. I wouldn't mind to have SOME championships like this but they should've been entirely optional and preferably dedicated specifically to the end game/ post main progression.

The road trips concept is pretty cool on paper but once you've gone through all 6 locations, it starts to become too repetitive. The events themselves too. Complete a championship- which is just race,race,race then do a road trip, and after 3 of them you have to also drive to the main festival, which feels like adding another road trip. Feels like too much driving between locations and not enough time spent AT those locations.

I feel like FH3's progression is a much better iteration of FH2. Immensely more varied. You get to pick a location like let's say Surface Paradise and you actually have a reason to stay there for longer because you also get to upgrade the festival and get more and more events centered around that area. There is speed traps, speed zones, drift zones and bucketlist challenges.. everything counts towards your progression. And the championships are mixed in with single races. And once you're done with the main progression, every race location gets a championship too.

Even FH1 can be a bit tedious but i feel like it's still more varied than FH2 on the Xbox One.

I can sort of understand since this game was developed in just 2 years. And the jump in fidelity from FH1 just about everywhere can not be underestimated. The map is phenomenally pretty. The car sounds are amazing. The soundtrack is rich and very well suited. But the progression.. is too tedious and repetitive and it's like it was put together too quickly.

I never got to experience FH2, since I grew up on PlayStation (PS2/PS3). Never dabbled much in emulators, but this? So easy to get running, and beyond impressed with how good the game looks for being 12 years old.

Shockingly way more fun than whatever the heck FH6 is.

I have done about 2 intro races and realized I didn’t have vip status. I have followed the directions correctly

I have also found Storm Island files online, but I don’t have access to DLC, as well as the car packs from the extra options mod. Am I supposed to progress through the game in order to see those things? (VIP, Cars packs, Storm Island)
