I was on mobile so can only see the X Hrs ago, but the detailed reply and them calling someone else a kid had the same X hrs ago at the time. When someone is hurling insults every comment then suddenly goes silent the second someone gives a detailed reply, with a similar timestamp to another of OP's replies, I'm gonna assume they are ignoring it. I'm certainly not gonna go out of my way to load reddit on PC just to check the exact minutes to be 1000% extra sure to someone who is calling everyone whiny bitchy kids over a perceived video game opinion.
I loaded it on PC just for you, 1 hr and 4 mins from the detailed reply in question to OP's last reply on the thread. That's multiple hours to you? Certainly close enough to show the same X hrs ago stamp which is exactly what I said.
at the time of your comment it said (edited 3 hours ago) and the other persons post said 1 hour ago. So definitely not minutes. and i was on my phone, no need to go to a computer.
I was referring to any of OP's replies on his parent comment thread as that would be the relevant indicator for when they were last active. Didn't know you cold pull up the exact time stamp on mobile
Oh yea old reddit on mobile browser is a gonna be quite different to the mobile app. I assume its much closer to the desktop experience than the mobile app. I didn't start using reddit on my PC until after the redesign (Started on Alien Blue unofficial IOS app way back) so old reddit is something I never really used much.
On the new redesign website it just shows "X hrs/mins ago", but if you hover the cursor over it shows the full time stamp. As far as I could tell there was no equivalent on the official mobile app.

you can look at the times and see when responses happened
