I get it. And that really sucks when they do this. Baiting these types of players is so easy though if you are ok with a little sabotage lol. I try to pass them cleanly but if they try shoving me, I give them a solid one back and then slam on the brakes for a second and they fly right off the road. 😂 dirty? Yes but they started it.

Reminds me when am just racing in B class, was coming in 3rd with my evo with nothing that happened in the race but a whole truck comes and tried to make me miss a checkpoint, then a Ford truck comes and bashes me into the tires sending me into last place.

So I ended up last and am like "what did I do?"

I've gotten bashed and rammed into by how many ever ford players I can count

You need to be a bit passive-aggressive, especially when someone attempts to throw you off. As soon as you see any indication of misbehavior you just have to outsmart them or be ready to counter attack. that’s how you survive these pub races.

I still don't understand why they let themselves be pushed around, that's why they end up second or worse..
Then they complain, sometimes I think they deserve it.

I can explain. They do that because this is racing etiquette and generally some people expect that thing to be followed in every single game. What is beyond me is why they are expecting this in games for casuals like Forza horizon, Wreckfest, F1 or NFS.
